【從 1 到 N，問鼎市場的第一步】
除了廣為人知的「比利時微電子研究中心」(IMEC)，「法國原子能委員會電子與資訊技術實驗室」(CEA-Leti) 是歐洲另一享譽國際的技轉實驗室，曾被路透社評選為「2017 全球最具創新能力研究機構」第二名、身懷逾 2,760 項專利。相較於從創意發想源頭涉入的技轉單位，CEA-Leti 花費更多心力在實務操作上，旨在為學術研究及產業應用搭橋、協助實現概念驗證 (POC) 過渡到產業量產階段的展示及原型製作，尤以多元微型化 (miniaturization) 和能源效率 (energy-efficient) 見長。
與意法半導體 (ST) 在矽基氮化鎵 (GaN-on-Si) 功率二極體和電晶體切換元件製造技術的合作就是一例，旨在滿足高效能、高功率應用需求，包括混合動力和電動汽車的車載充電器、無線充電和伺服器。另為因應物聯網 (IoT)、人工智慧 (AI)、雲端、邊緣和智能合約等新興趨勢，CEA-Leti 亦致力將其開源「SensiNact IoT 平台中介軟體」用於發展安全的區塊鏈 (Blockchain)，冀使成為去中心化的「霧運算平台」核心，為隨需 (on-demand) 邊緣運算打造全新生態。
