新加坡國家美術館（National Gallery Singapore）今年首次以線上和線下相結合的方式舉行「兒童雙年展」（Gallery Children’s Biennale），並命名展題為「#藝術為何如此重要？」，展示與兒童有關的藝術創作。邁入第三屆的兒童雙年展，線上部分於5月22日已經展開，展出藝術家來自包括越南、菲律賓、臺灣、印度、柬埔寨、新加坡等不同地域，共展出9位藝術家和藝術團體的藝術作品，而實體的兒童雙年展則將於9 月 4 日在博物館展出。
