OneBeat 2015獲獎助音樂家名單公布，恭喜台灣音樂家入選!
OneBeat 2015國際青年音樂外交計畫今天公布入選名單，共25位來自17個國家及地區的音樂家勝出。今年的入選名單中有一位台灣代表 - 蔡惠雅，她是柳琴演奏家、兼擅多種樂器，也是音樂老師。蔡惠雅的入選讓台灣首次被納入這個紐約時報暱稱為”音樂聯合國”的交流 計畫。25位入選音樂家完整介紹請參考: http://1beat.org/about/fellows/#2015.
他們將前往美國參加今年10月12日至11月11日的駐村創作計畫，在一個月內共同創作跨國界音樂、錄製原創專輯、拍攝短片、並參與各項與倡議公民社會議題相關的社群交流活動。OneBeat 的音樂家為代表其國家的音樂親善大使，將以共同匯集的原創音樂共鳴，對全世界的觀眾發聲。
今年堂堂邁入第四年的OneBeat國際青年音樂外交計畫，是由美國國務院教育文化事務部與夥伴單位Found Sound Nation共同策畫推動，今年將返回加州的薩拉托加，在蒙塔爾沃藝術中心進行兩週的駐村創作，接下來兩週前往奧勒岡中部的考德拉藝術村、波特蘭及西雅圖等地巡迴演出。駐村及巡迴演出時程

2015 OneBeat Fellows Announced and Congrats to the Taiwan Winner!
The OneBeat 2015 Program today officially announced the 25 awarded musicians from 17 different countries and territories. They will join together from October 12 – November 11, 2015 in OneBeat to create collaborative cross-genre works, record innovative music, produce short form videos, engage with local communities and practice music as civic engagement to promote resilient civil societies. OneBeat fellows are life-long ambassadors for their communities and cities; their combined voices create original works and projects that speak to audiences across the globe.
This year’s fellows include one musician from Taiwan: Ms. Tsai Hui-Ya, who is a liuqin player, multi-instrumentalist and educator. Tsai Hui-ya’s participation marks Taiwan’s first winner to take part in this “United Nations of Music”, as the New York Times called the event. Now in its fourth year, OneBeat, the pioneering music diplomacy program initiated by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) and produced by Bang on a Can’s Found Sound Nation, will return to Montalvo Arts Center in Saratoga, CA for a two-week residency. The residency will be followed by a two-week tour that includes stops at Caldera Arts in central Oregon, venues in Portland, OR and culminating in Seattle.
