For me, it’s never too late to do anything. I mean setting your new year resolutions on Jan 1st doesn’t mean you executed your new year goals already. You can always start where you are, and when you’re ready.
It was a lovely afternoon after a lunch with two old friends that I started to set my new year goals. I think my friend didn’t realize what she said but I ruminated for days about her words. She said it doesn’t matter if you didn’t achieve anything big in 2020, even if you didn’t make the good use of time to learn a new skill or read some new books, even if you just rest and chill in the whole 2020, it’s like once-in-a-lifetime chance that you can actually rest together with the whole world. She comforted my guilt and reminded me I was an inspiration to myself.
And hey - I’m talking to you, if you’re still regretting what you’ve lost in 2020, you can’t go back and change the beginning, but you can START NOW, and change the ending. This year I’m turning 30 and I set 5 new year goals 🖐🏽 that I want to achieve, how about you?😉
