I don't usually find time to pamper myself but recently, my daughter reminded me that I must love myself first in order to love others. Yup, such profound advice from my little one.

So I found time to relax a little more over the weekend despite that the kids were home alone with me and did a shoulder massage and foot bath. Woohoo! You know, this girl is always very excited to give me a quick massage and I am touched by her sweet, loving gesture.

It was also my first time doing a foot bath (which explains why I had to use a Trofast storage box) as I reckoned it would do those aching feet some good. Gardening has never been my forte but recently, the girls have taken a keen interest in growing plants and in wanting to encourage them to hone their green fingers, together with Papa, they've set up this mini garden in our home.

While they are the ones responsible for watering the plants and taking care of the garden, you can imagine my shock when the big girl told me one day "Mama, there are flies and worms and bugs on some of our plants and in the pots!" Oh dear. What could we possibly do to save our plants without harming the pests since I always tell the kids that every life matters?
