This year, Muslims in Singapore are expected to observe Ramadan from 13 April to 12 May.
With mosques being able to resume more worship services, we are pleased to share that the Muslim community can look forward to limited Ramadan worship services being held in mosques this year. This includes terawih prayers and qiyamullail at the mosques.
We would like to remind the community that our priority remains ensuring everyone's safety. As Singapore is still in phase 3 of re-opening, there is still a need to maintain the current safe management measures.
Jemaah can participate in the permitted activities at the mosques according to the respective guidelines. The appointed Mosque Service Managers and Ambassadors across mosques islandwide will be readily available to assist the community in adhering to the safe management measures, as well as the booking of prayers space and use of Trace Together application.
We would also like to encourage the community to still observe Ramadan activities with your families at home, in view of limited spaces at the mosques, and to access online content and services that will be stepped up.
We will share more updates and guides with the community in the following weeks so that we may all observe yet another meaningful Ramadan this year, insyaAllah.
