Tasha was born a tiny baby - 19.01.2013
At 1.56kg to be exact pre term.
Every Doctor wanted to C-Section but we managed to bring her out to this world through normal delivery.
She was in NICU for 2 weeks fighting for her life .
All tubes and wires attached to her body , I remembered those times looking through the glass incubator.
My heart bleeds with sorrow seeing her .
But she was born a fighter .
Always has ...
Followed Bella every step trying to outbeat her in all aspect .
Joined TaekwanDo at 3.5 years old and managed junior blackbelt at 7
Khatam Quran at 6 years old
Loves drawing
Bully Bella all the time - Haha
Loves outdoor activities
Very athletic
Very strong minded & opinionated
Strong willed & determined
But loving & sensitive at the same time.
Can be very challenging raising Tasha .
Definitely need a different approach
But always impressed me - Alhamdulillah

Just thought I’d share my work from my last art lesson of the term with all of you! Since we’re currently having online classes, the task we were set today was a bit different from what we’ve been doing. We were supposed to be doing a painting project, but since that’s close to impossible, we were told to do a portrait instead. But not just any portrait…we had to pick a section of our face, and only draw that part of it, using a specific technique called hatching. Hatching is basically a technique of adding tone and detail to a drawing by using continuous parallel strokes.
I decided to go over my portrait with a pen to give it a more defined look, and to be honest, I’m quite pleased with how it turned out. This break from our regular art activities was quite a nice way to end the term, and it brought some pretty pleasing results as well! Can’t wait to get back to school and see what other projects our art teacher has in store for us…

It’s funny how life works out. Drawing was so integral throughout my entire childhood and early teen years. I used to write and draw my own comics with my cousins. We made our own little club and we would spend our weekends reading each other’s work. Then became life’s distractions like school work, boys, teen things, university, partying, work, marriage, parenthood, divorce and co parenting life. Now I have come back to my roots by drawing again. It’s been a great outlet for me. When I hold my stylus, I only focus on my strokes. It calms me. I’m so thankful for art.
