วันนี้ผมจะมาพูดหน่อยครับว่า
ทำไมการทำให้ "ประชาชนกินดีอยู่ดี"
ถึงเป็นมาตรการขั้นต่ำในการทำให้ประเทศชาติพัฒนาได้
ในการที่มนุษย์จะเลือกทำอะไรสักอย่างกับชีวิตได้
เขาจะต้องได้รับการตอบสนองพื้นฐานในการมีชีวิตก่อน
ถ้าในพุทธจะมีปัจจัยสี่
คือ อาหาร ที่อยู่อาศัย เครื่องนุ่งห่ม ยารักษาโรค
ซึ่ง 4 อย่างนี้จะจัดอยู่ในกลุ่ม
Physiological & Safety Needs ของ Maslow

กล่าวคือ
ถ้าเราไม่มีอาหารกินเพื่ออยู่รอด
เราจะเลือกทำอะไรโดยไม่สนความปลอดภัยของตัวเอง
ถ้าเราไม่มีความปลอดภัยในชีวิต
เราจะไม่สนเรื่องความสัมพันธ์ความรู้สึกของผู้อื่น
และต่อไปเรื่อยๆ
จนถึงขั้นบนสุด
*คือการพยายามพัฒนาตนเพื่อไปให้ถึงจุดเป้าหมายที่มีค่า*

ซึ่ง "การพัฒนา" นะครับ
มันไม่ได้เป็นสิ่งจำเป็นขั้นต่ำต่อความอยู่รอดของสังคม
อย่างสมมุติว่าคุณมีระบบเศรฐกิจ
ที่เพียงพอต่อการเลี้ยงประชากร
ถึงแม้ว่าคุณจะเป็นประเทศล้าหลังยังไง
อย่างน้อยมันก็ยังไม่มีใครอดตาย
*แต่*
ถ้าระบบเศรฐกิจนั้นมันไม่เพียงพอ
คุณจะไม่มีทรัพยากรมากพอที่จะเอามาใช้ใน "การพัฒนา "ได้
เพราะคุณต้องเอาทรัพยากรที่จำกัด
มาทำการ **ซ่อม** ระบบที่ผุพังอยู่

อย่างสมมุติคุณจะบอกว่า
เราจะทำโครงการพันล้าน
สร้างอาคารเจดีย์เลี่ยมทอง
ทรัพยากรที่จะเอามาสร้างมัน
จะต้องเก็บมาจากภาษีของประชาชน
แล้วภาษีนั้นมาจากไหน?
ก็มาจากส่วนแบ่งที่ประชาชนทำการใช้จ่ายกัน
ถ้าประชาชนสะสมทรัพย์และมีการใช้จ่ายได้มากเท่าไหร่
ภาษีที่เอามาใช้พัฒนาอะไรต่างๆได้ก็จะมากขึ้นเท่านั้น

แต่ถ้าประชาชนใช้ชีวิตกันอย่างขัดสน
ประชาชนจะต้องเก็บเงินมาไว้ใช้จ่ายเพื่อความอยู่รอด
ทำให้ทรัพย์ที่สามารถจ่ายเป็นภาษีได้นั้นยิ่งลดตามลงไป
ทำให้ประเทศนั้นยิ่งพัฒนาได้ล่าช้ายิ่งขึ้น

และถ้าระบบมันผุพังจนประชาชนไม่สามารถอยู่รอดได้
อาชญากรรมก็จะสูงขึ้น
เพราะเขา*จำเป็น*ต้องทำเพื่อความอยู่รอดของตัวเอง
มนุษย์จะไม่สนสิทธิความรู้สึกของผู้อื่น
ถ้าชีวิตของเขาไม่มีความปลอดภัย
มนุษย์จะเลือกสร้างความเดือดร้อนต่อผู้อื่นได้
ถ้าชีวิตเขาอยู่ในภัยอันตราย

ซึ่งสิ่งที่เรามีไว้เพื่อแก้ปัญหานั้น
เราเรียกมันว่า "สวัสดิการ" ครับ
สวัสดิการนะ
มันมีเอาไว้เติมเต็มปัจจัยความเป็นอยู่ขั้นต่ำ
สำหรับการดำรงชีพของมนุษย์
**และต่อให้ประเทศเป็นเผด็จการ**
ถ้าความต้องการขั้นต่ำถูกเติมเต็ม
จำนวนประชาชนที่จะต่อต้านรัฐก็จะยิ่งลดลงตาม

ด้วยเหตุนี้
**ผู้ปกครองที่มีความสามารถ**
จะยิ่งพยายามทำให้ประชาชนมีชีวิตความเป็นอยู่ที่ดีกัน
ไม่ใช่เพราะเป็นการ"ทำเพื่อชาติและประชาชน"
แต่เป็นการ"ทำเพื่อตัวเอง" ด้วย
เพราะยิ่งความต้องการของประชาชนถูกเติมเต็มมากเท่าไหร่
ความจำเป็นจะต้องใช้ทรัพย์ไปซ่อมระบบมันก็จะลดตาม
คุณจะเอาส่วนแบ่งที่เหลือพันล้านไปทำอะไร
เขาก็จะไม่มาประท้วงต่อว่าคุณ

แต่ในทางกลับกัน
ถ้าคุณเอางบประมาณไปทำอะไรนิดอะไรหน่อย
แล้วประชาชนก็ออกมาแสดงความไม่พอใจกัน
นั่นเป็นหลักฐานครับว่า
ระบบนะ ...... มัน"พัง"กันขนาดไหน ...........
เพราะทรัพย์ที่มีนั้น
มันควรเอามาใช้ซ่อมระบบที่ผุพังก่อน
*****มันไม่ได้มีมากพอที่จะเอาไปทำอย่างอื่น
โดยไม่สนความเป็นตายของประชาชน*****

และผู้ปกครองที่ทำกันอย่างนั้นนะ
***คือผู้ปกครองที่โง่เขลาครับ***
ทุบหม้อข้าวอันเป็นแหล่งที่มารายได้ตัวเองไม่พอ
ยังมาตัดปัจจัยที่จะทำให้ตัวเองได้รับความต้องการสูงสุดด้วย
ไม่มีทั้ง Esteem และ Self-Actualization
เพราะจะทำอะไรไปก็จะมีแต่ถูกผู้อื่นต่อว่า
ไม่สามารถขึ้นไปถึงขั้นยอดคนที่ผู้คนจะมายกย่องได้ครับ

What third culture means is the hybrid of two separate cultures that one may experience growing up. That means all of us here in this photo. Looking at this group photo does make me a bit wistful, as this was taken right after our interview which happened about a month ago, when we were all still talking about Taiwan as ‘the luckiest place to be’ and when we can be outside without a mask mandate. It’s interesting to listen to the episode now in light of all that’s happened recently, but it makes some of Jane’s messages even more relevant.

TẠI SAO NGƯỜI CHƠI THỜI TRANG HIỆN TẠI LẠI CÓ XU HƯỚNG CHUYỂN SANG NỘI THẤT (HOME DECOR, FURNITURE).
Trong thời điểm hiện nay, không khó để các bạn thấy những người chơi thời trang có tiếng trong cộng đồng chúng ta không chỉ đi kèm theo những trang phục mà kèm vào đó là những thứ xung quanh họ. Yeah, ý mình là nội thất - những món đồ trang trí trong nhà, những vật/phụ kiện hay thậm chí là cả căn phòng. Home Decor, Furniture - Tiêu biểu và phổ thông nhất hiện tại chắc là cái ghế Wassily.
Wassily Chair, được thiết kế trên cảm hứng của khung xe đạp và tư tưởng thiết kế từ phong trào De Stjil đến từ Marcel Breuer, nhà thiết kế nội thất người Hung-ga-ri trong lò đào tạo Bauhaus. Thì đối với dân thời trang thì Antwerp's Royal Academy of Fine Art (Học viện Mỹ thuật Hoàng gia Antwerp) thì dân nội thất lại biết tới nhiều về Staatliches Bauhaus - một ngôi trường ở Đức về nghệ thuật thủ công và mĩ thuật. Dù xuất phát điểm trong trường không có bộ môn Kiến Trúc, nhưng cách tiếp cận thiết kế về một dạng nghệ thuật "Tổng Thể", liên kết với nhau gồm nhiều thứ bao gồm cả kiến trúc đã tạo ra Bauhaus movement (Phong trào Bauhaus). Phong trào Bauhaus ảnh hưởng rất lớn tới ngành thiết kế Kiến trúc hiện đại cho nên đó là lí do vì sao giờ rất nhiều người theo đuổi tinh thần này.
Như thế này, thể theo một hình kim tự tháp về nhu cầu con người nổi tiếng ( Mô hình Maslow) thì khi con người đã "ăn no mặc ấm" sẽ chuyển sang giai đoạn "ăn ngon mặc đẹp" và "thể hiện bản thân". Điều này chứng tỏ con người là một giống loài không bao giờ cảm thấy đủ và luôn nâng cấp bản thân, luôn luôn là như vậy và nhờ có nó thì con người mới phát triển, mới đạt được những cột mốc mới. Tại sao mình lại nói như thế?
Trong cộng đồng thời trang đường phố trải dài qua các thời kì, những xu hướng và trào lưu qua rồi biến mất trên thị trường. Từ "Hypebeast" đến "Hedi Boys" "DarkGod", "Techwear" "Archived Fashion", những thương hiệu lướt qua đời nhau như Guidi, CCP, Julius, ACG, Issey Miyake... (Vì khi xu hướng đó thoái trào thì các thương hiệu trên cũng không nhắc được tới nhiều). Mình cũng trải nghiệm những thời điểm đó nên hiểu được tiến trình của việc trên đó là "Sự khẳng định bản thân" / Self-actualization.
Trong khoảng thời gian không ngắn nhưng cũng không quá dài, các phong cách - các thương hiệu thời trang ồ dạt du nhập vào Việt Nam từ khi streetwear lên ngôi khiến vòng đời của 1 phong cách bền vững tại Việt Nam gần như rất ngắn và thấp. Cũng khó trách được vì mọi người trong giai đoạn "Định hình thời trang" của mình vậy.
Cho đến khoảng năm 2020/2021, những ai đã trải qua hết tất cả các giai đoạn kia hầu hết đã biết "Thứ thời trang mà mình theo đuổi" và "Con người thời trang" của mình là gì. Theo chia sẻ của nhiều người rằng "Thời trang là thứ yếu và họ muốn được thể hiện bản thân mình ra nhiều hơn nữa". Nó đi đúng với Tháp nhu cầu phía trên - tự khẳng định bản thân. Nên nhớ rằng thế hệ trẻ vô cùng giỏi và tiệm cận những vị trí đỉnh rất nhanh, nên nếu không tạo ra điểm khác biệt và khẳng định thứ mới thì rất cái tháp nhu cầu kia sẽ sụp đổ.
Trong bài viết "Aesthetic" của mình vừa qua cũng đề cập tới việc nhiều người hiện tại đang trong quá trình xây dựng "Aesthetic của riêng mình". Triết lý về vẻ đẹp và nghệ thuật là tùy thuộc cảm nhận của riêng mỗi người. Để tạo ra một Personal Aesthetic thì kết hợp cùng thời trang mặc trên người, không gian sống, tinh thần làm việc/relax/enjoy nghệ thuật là một điều mà nhiều người đang làm bây giờ. Đó là lí do việc một số lớn các bạn đang theo đuổi thời trang chuyển qua sử dụng đồ nội thất, decor hoặc creative object ( vật được design sáng tạo) kết hợp cùng fashion để tạo ra "Cái tôi" bản thân của mình. Đỉnh của "Self-actualization".
NÀO, NÓI SÂU HƠN VỀ THỜI TRANG:
Các thương hiệu thời trang đã đào sâu vào "Fashion Furniture" "Fashion Homeware" từ một khoảng thời gian trước rồi. Gucci, Loewe, Rick Owens, Chromehearts và đến cả thần tượng của khá nhiều người Virgil Abloh (Mà Virgil xuất thân là dân thiết kế nội thất chứ không phải là fashion designer) cũng hợp tác cùng IKEA để ra nhưng sản phẩm đậm chất "OFFWHITE". Supreme cũng không ngần ngại hợp tác với các thương hiệu thiết kế nội thất và phụ kiện trong nhà để mang hình tượng boxlogo trải đều trong căn nhà của bạn.
Mục đích của các fashion brands đó là "Tạo ra một hệ sinh thái khép kín" giữa các collection của họ, tạo ra một "Mối quan hệ sâu sắc hơn" với những khách hàng quý giá. Điều này càng được cổ động khi các nền tảng social network bùng lên mạnh mẽ, nghĩa là - một người có xu hướng "giới thiệu" lifestyle/lối sống bao gồm thời trang, cách ăn uống và dĩ nhiên rồi, ngôi nhà và nội thất. Thông qua hình ảnh, clip ngắn thì ngôi nhà và các phụ kiện bên trong được show nhiều hơn bao giờ hết. Đồng nghĩa, với một người yêu thích thời trang sẽ có xu hướng trang trí nội thất sao cho đồng điệu với những sản phẩm họ đang có - từ màu sắc, vibe, aesthetic và THƯƠNG HIỆU.
Ví dụ như một người thích đồ Rick Owens sẽ thường mua những đồ trang trí đến từ Rick Owens, hay một Undercover fanboi cũng yêu thích mang những đồ của UDC về.
"Fair Investment" - một sự đầu tư an toàn cũng là một lí do mà nhiều người sẵn sàng bỏ một số tiền lớn để chi trả cho nội thất. Furniture hay Home Decor thường có vòng đời dài hơn, ít xu hướng hơn là thời trang. Điều này đồng nghĩa là nếu người tiêu dùng nào sở hữu 1 -2 món đồ gì đó liên quan tới ngôi nhà và nội thất. Món đồ đó sẽ đồng hành cùng họ ít nhất là 05 năm cho tới 10 năm, hoặc có khi là cả đời. Đây chính là điểm mà các fashion brands vô cùng "thèm muốn" vì nếu mà họ thuyết phục được khách hàng mua các sản phẩm nội thất của họ thì điều này đồng nghĩa "Brandname" của họ sẽ đập vào mắt khách hàng, những người tới thăm căn nhà đó trong một khoảng thời gian dài. Viêc tăng brand awareness và biến mình trở thành một phần không thể thiếu trong lối sống của khách hàng, đó là thứ mà bất kì một thương hiệu nào luôn mong muốn.
Hơn nữa, giá cả càng cao - thương hiệu càng nổi tiếng, càng được công nhận càng thể hiện được level của người chơi (Dù là lowkey hay là commercial).
Mà nó lại quay về keyword: "SELF- ACTUALIZATION".

為什麼有些人會「窮到只剩下錢」?

身為人,有哪些需求需要一步步去滿足?

這些問題都與美國心理學家Abraham Harold Maslow 在1943年提出的需求層次理論(Hierarchy of Needs) 習息息相關。馬斯洛認為,唯有一步步地滿足五個層面的需求,最終達到自我實現(self-actualization),人才會達到真正的快樂與完整。

然而,我認為在現代社會中,許多人反而被虛有其表的物質和外表,卡在較低層的需求中,卻不知自己空虛的來源是什麼。所以,透過這部影片,希望能跟大家分享一些馬斯洛的理念和我個人見解。
