Circular and sustainable economy is an inevitable trend. reebelo, a multi-national sustainable tech startup that provides a marketplace for buying and selling pre-owned consumer electronics, has closed a seed round with USD$1.25M and set foot in Taiwan. They also plan to expand to the US and Japanese markets soon.

In response to this new challenge, the 8 leading tech companies in Taiwan, including Delta Electronics, TSMC, AUO, Microsoft Taiwan, LiteOn, Acer, Asus and PEGATRON have collaborated on the founding of Taiwan Climate Partnership (TCP).
TCP aims to advocate the net-zero goal to the supply chain in actual practice, while raising awareness for the issue through close cooperation with international counterparts.
Therefore, the TCP members decided to share their experiences on sustainable development and urge everybody to take action. TCP would like to invite more Taiwanese companies to work together for the net-zero goal, for sustainable economy and for a better future!
1.5 years later and we’re still in a lockdown.. Is this really the solution? How sustainable is it? What will the long term impact be on our economy, community and most importantly mental health?

Here are some points I’d like to highlight in the video:
⚡️We have been living in fear for the past year
⚡️800,000 people die of suicide every year. ☠️ That’s ONE suicide every 40 seconds! (This number is pre-covid!)
⚡️ My nation, Malaysia records an average of 3 suicide cases daily.
⚡️ Suicide is one of the leading cause of deaths in young people. (Yup, that’s our kids, teens & future generation)
⚡️ Anxiety & depression have increased by 50% during Covid!
⚡️ Mental illness is REAL and it is KILLING people. Just because you cannot physically see it, doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist!
⚡️ If you are struggling, NEVER be ashamed to ask for help! 🏳️🏳️

Is what we are doing right now working? Is this the solution? Will we look back years later and wish we have done things differently?
