เข้าสู่ปีที่ 23 แล้วสำหรับงานประกาศรางวัลในวงการเกมอย่าง DICE Awards ประจำปี 2020 ที่คราวนี้ผู้เข้าชิงในสาขาเกมแห่งปีนั้นน่าสนใจไม่น้อยเลยทีเดียว

DICE Awards เป็นงานประกาศรางวัลที่จัดโดยสถาบัน Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences หรือ AIAS โดยจะคัดเลือกผลงานเกมที่ออกวางจำหน่ายในปีที่ผ่านมา เพื่อตัดสินว่าเกมใดคือเกมที่ดีที่สุดในสาขานั้น ๆ โดยในปีนี้ เกมที่น่าจับตามองในสาขา Game of the Year ก็คือ Death Stranding ผลงานล่าสุดของผู้กำกับเกมชื่อดัง Hideo Kojima และ Control เกม Action Sci-Fi อันเหนือจินตนาการอย่างที่สุด นอกจากนั้นยังมีเกมอย่าง Disco Elysium, The Outer Worlds และ Untitled Goose Game ร่วมเข้าชิงด้วย
