SEGA classic RPG series Shenmue anime announced! 😲
Will be made by Telecom Animation Film (Orange / Tower of God), directed by Chikara Sakurai (One Punch Man season 2), and game designer Yu Suzuki will serve as executive producer
The game's latest episode Shenmue III broke record numbers on Kickstarter, but the final product was disastrous...Let's hope the anime version will be better 👀

美國的動畫平台 Crunchyroll 於正在舉行的線上展覽活動 VCRX 中宣布，該平台將與 Adult Swim 共同打造《莎木》動畫影集。動畫由日本的 Telecom Animation Film 製作，導演是櫻井親良，鈴木裕則擔任監製，共13集，明日的活動中會有相關續報。
個人推測，除非超級濃縮，不然 13 集應該頂多演完遊戲一二代的劇情，可能動畫播出前後，《莎木》的遊戲續作也會有相關發表吧。但如果動畫可以做到第二季之後，或許《莎木》的故事至少可以用動畫的形式迎來完結也說不定。
