Investman wants to take everyone back to the 19th century industrial revolution era.
As many people already know that
Britain is the first country in the world to have an industrial revolution since July. B.E. 1780
Followed by Belgium and France
While the economy of other countries in Europe is turning through to progress.
Germany just reunited countries by land which is now Germany. Just completely united for the first time on July. Year 1871 which is the same as the reign of King Rama 5 of the Kingdom of Siam.
From the gathering of German tribes led by the Northern Prussian Kingdom.
With little and big south under the lead of Emperor Wilhelm 1
And Prime Minister Ottoffon Bi Mark
The industrial revolution later made Germans not want to waste their time. Try wrong, try right.
To develop the country to thrive.
The important thing in this regard is to put the process of education and research systematically, therefore, the government puts ′′ education reform ′′ first.
Even many European countries have founded the university since medieval times.
But Europe's academics won't be much involved in the business and industry.
Academics are posing as ′′ gentlemen ′′ not doing business and not messing with industrial sector.
The mechanics, technicians, or anyone involved in the industrial sector will be seen as lower than academics.
But German education doesn't look that way..
With Germany's absence of colony and its revolutionizing industrial slower than many countries.
The only thing that could make the Empire that was recently advanced further than others.
It's scientific advancement, especially in ′′ applied science
Under the lead of Bismarck, huge educational budgeting occurred.
Educational welfare is founded in technical college.
Educational emphasis on Technician and Engineering Career Specifically
Berlin's Technical College of Berlin was established in Year B.E. 1879
Developed from the college of mining that was founded in kho. B.E. 1770
This place is currently the Technical University of Berlin (Technische Universität Berlin)
Apart from Berlin
Technical universities are also established at other states around the country during the evacuation time.
Technical University of Darmstutt, established in July. B.E. 1877
Hannopher Technical University established in July B.E. 1879
Having a unique university in Technician and Engineering
Make a lot of workforce and technicians
When these workers graduate, they can enter into industrial sector immediately.
Government also supports universities to cooperate with industrial sector.
There is a collaborative research between academics and businessmen in industry circles.
Engineering research is easily implemented in the business world.
When businesses can make profit, they give money back to support research.
Later on, many big companies start having their own research and development institutions.
Germany's engineering development is growing in a leap.
Especially in the steel industry.
The German Empire Steel Industry Center is located around the Roore River Valley.
Aka Ruhrgebiet (Ruhrgebiet) which is west of the country.
This area is a major source of iron and coal mineral, with an epicenter in Esseen.
But originally, most steel industries use mild steel, these iron are fragile.
Make it not yet applied for much use.
For steel to be stronger and more durable, it is necessary to transform the chemical structure of steel by fusing and filling the mineral into steel.
But ironing requires a very high temperature at the moment, no effective and cost effective stove for production.
How to produce Siemens-Martin Steel
Which was invented in July. 1865 by 2 researchers
One of them is German named Sir Carl Wilhelm Siemens
Created an accelerated steel squid oven that can heat up to 1,500 degrees Celsius.
It's called a pan stove or open hearth furnace.
With education system that strongly connects research and industrial sector.
Not long ago, German steel company brought a new refiner.
xỳāng rwdrĕw application in the steel industry
Led by steel company called ′′ Krupp ′′
Krupp company founded by the Krupp family has a history back to mid 16th century.
There is an office located in Esseen during which German railway expands rapidly.
Esen City becomes the center of the steel industry.
Krupp company also leads to manufacturing metal-based products such as railroad tracks and locomotives.
Alfred Krupp has funded research to find out how to produce steel.
Scholarship to the scholars when a new refiner comes out successfully.
Krupp company has become a leader in global export steel production.
From railroad tracks, development to machinery and factories.
Not long ago, Germany was on board, Europe's major steel manufacturer overtakes England.
Krupp company currently has merged with Thyssen steel company.
Became a ′′ Thyssenkrupp ′′ company.
Even the steel industry is going to lower the role.
But Thyssenkrupp has continued to be a leader in engine parts.
Aircraft, elevator and escalator components.
Apart from the steel industry, another industry in which German engineering knowledge has advanced over many countries during the same time is the electrical industry.
Led by a company called ′′ Siemens ′′
Founder of this company is Werner von Siemens Berlin electric engineer
This is the real brother of Sir Carl Wilhelm Siemens who invented steel production methods.
Werner von Siemens has automatically invented a typed telegram system.
Instead of knocking, using Morse code, then founded Siemens company in July. B.E. 1847
Siemens company has expanded its business across Europe and USA.
Werner von Siemens also the world's first electric elevator developer in July. B.E. 1880
The inventor of mechanical dynamo that transforms mechanical energy into electric energy.
And build an electric bus or Trolley Bus in July. B.E. 1882
Siemens are currently the world's leading electrical engineering company.
There are a variety of products from electronics, electric car, medical tools.
Electric train signal system to wind turbine technology
In addition to Thyssenkrupp and Siemens, the brand is under 100 years old.
Germany also has many engineering companies that all have the same age.
The whole Leica company founded in July. B.E. 1869
Expert in the production of eyelet lenses, medical devices and cameras.
AEG company founded in July. 1883 Manufacturer of large generator and tram system
Osram company separated from Siemens in July. Prof. 1909 is a leader in light bulb technology.
Dedication to developing applied science education and connecting to the business sector, opens new advancements in engineering.
And bring Germany to step up, standing in the front line of the world's leading industrial countries.
But not only the advancements in the steel and electrical industry.
Founded Technical University will produce important people in the science industry.
To take Germany to open the world into a new industry.
Industry that will forever change people's lifestyle
′′ The chemical industry "..

【Founders: What's Your 20 Mile March?】
In his book "Great by Choice," author Jim Collins set off to understand why some companies were not only able to withstand the test of time--weathering through volatility, uncertainty, and recessions--but also outperform industry peers by 10x.
One of those factors was what he called the 20 Mile March. To illustrate this concept, he cited the story of two explorers--Amundsen of Norway and Scott of England--each leading an expedition to the South Pole. Amundsen's team trekked around 20 miles, every day, rain or shine, no matter what. Meanwhile, Scott's team would push their limits as far as they would go on good days with clear skies, while limiting their efforts on days with inclement weather.
The Norwegians ultimately reached the South Pole first, a whole 5 weeks ahead of their British counterparts.
As a founder, there are so many things out of your control, whether it's competition, technological change, geopolitics, natural disasters, or global pandemics--perhaps more relevant today than ever. Furthermore, you're constantly bombarded with ideas, opportunities, fires to put out, and an endless barrage of other things pulling your attention left and right. Adopting a 20 Mile March creates a tangible point of focus that keeps you and your team moving forward, despite confusion, uncertainty, and even chaos.
For companies pre-PMF, this might entail deploying several product iterations or talking to a certain number of customers per month. For growth stage companies, this could mean hitting certain threshold of profitability each quarter, never going over or under.
A 20 Mile March doesn't need to be financial. It could be oriented towards customer service, learning, or even innovation. In any case, a good 20 Mile March has the following 7 elements, according to Collins:
1. Clear performance markers
2. Self-imposed constraints (upper and lower bounds)
3. Appropriate to the specific company
4. Largely within the company’s control to achieve
5. A proper timeframe (long enough to manage, yet short enough to have teeth)
6. Imposed by the company upon itself
7. Achieved with high consistency
For leaders of startups, corporations, expeditions, teams, or even your own personal lives, it is paramount to adopt an almost fanatic-like discipline, with clear and consistent steps if you want to achieve your goals. This requires acclimating to two distinct types of discomfort: delivering high performance in difficult times and holding back in good times. As they say, the more you sweat in times of peace, the less you bleed in times of war.

Update: I appreciate all the support I’ve been getting and I’m glad that this issue has sparked a debate about racism. Many people recognise that racism exists in any form/colour. Racism exists in every country. Demonising a certain group of people because of their nationality/race/skin colour even in this case is unacceptable and only furthers the problem. There have been different kinds of comments on this post. Some comments made with well-intentions, others with less. I will be limiting comments to this post, and removing the details relating to the incident for the police to carry out their invesitigations unhindered. But the discussion relating to racism remains. Talk to someone about racism— discuss how racism might arise in your society and how we can tackle such a senseless issue. I hope we can move forward to be better people for the future!
Original post: (without details of incident)
The spread of coronavirus has resulted in panic across the world — with people debating as to the severity of the situation: is this a deadly virus that we should all be afraid of? Or is it just similar to the common flu? It is without doubt that the medical effects of the COVID-19 has taken the front stage in issues across the world (and rightfully so). However, when we have been focusing solely on the health effects of the coronavirus, we fail to see the social effects that has surfaced from the spread of this virus— where racism has found yet another excuse to rear its ugly head.
I’ve always believed that racism was grounded in stupidity— that people who actually believed one’s ‘racial group’ or ‘nationality’ defines an individual must surely be so ignorant that they deserve my pity. Surely, an ethnic Chinese cannot be ‘British’ or a white-skinned person cannot be Chinese? What makes us ‘Chinese’, ‘Indian’, ‘Malay’ or some other race? Most of us have ancestors of different races. What should we make of a Singaporean who has an English father and a Chinese mother? Is she Chinese or English? What then, should we make of an individual with bloodlines tracing from many different places? How should we classify an individual who has ancestors hailing from Africa, China, England and Italy? Racists argue that people are a certain way because of their race. But how can this argument hold when we realise that race is such a malleable concept? I have believed for long that racism is grounded in stupidity, but I realise today that to say so, is not only being kind to racists, but also gives them an excuse.
Racism is not stupidity — racism is hate. Racists constantly find excuses to expound their hatred— and in this current backdrop of the coronavirus, they’ve found yet another excuse. From refusing service to a Chinese-looking person to racially-motivated hate crimes, every single one of these acts are based on racism. People dismiss racism with statements such as ‘it’s not all of us — only a minority are racists and this does not reflect on a city/country’. While factually true, not only it does not change the fact that this is an ugly problem that has plagued humanity for a very long time, but also it belittles this problem we have. Racism has changed it form and shape through the years and it is once again rearing its ugly head in light of the COVID-19 crisis.
Why should anyone, simply because of the colour of their skin, be subjected to abuse, in any form, verbal or physical? Why should anyone keep quiet when someone makes a racist remark towards them?
*(See: https://edition.cnn.com/…/coronavirus-racist-at…/index.html…)
Disclaimer update:
- This post is intended to bring people together and not divide us based on arbitrary things such as skin colour. Comments demonising a group of a certain skin colour (white or black etc) completely defeats the purpose! Even a Chinese can be racist towards a Chinese, and while it is confusing, the point remains that the demonising of a certain assumed race of my attackers only serve to further the message of the racists. It only seeks to divide us even further and it is unfair towards the billions of white/black-skinned people who are defined by their individuality- who are so much more than their skin colour! Demonising a certain group of people because of their skin colour is racist in itself and its completely unacceptable.
- PLEASE, do not use this post as a platform to continue to propagate racist tendencies- humanity has suffered enough. People of any skin colour can and have suffered racism at some point in our lives and the main point is to realise this is an issue, try to BE THE CHANGE, instead of contributing to racism.
- If you have reached here, thank you so much for reading till the end of this post. I just want to say I hope we can all work together to stamp out racism in this world (regardless of whom it is against) and build a better future!

This song is about long distance relationships.
I wrote it after spending 3 weeks away from Jon who was in England at the time. Not knowing if he will come back to Malaysia, I had to find a way to deal with it. So I wrote this happy mantra “Though we’re worlds apart, I’ll reach for the stars,” to remind myself, that love prevails, no matter the distance.
I collaborated with Sony to make this fun, colourful video to celebrate this. Really hope you'll enjoy it and play this song when you need a pick-me-up.
Full song will be available soon
Lyrics:
Kisses were made for you and I
It feels like butter in my Apple Pie
Taking chances, flip a dime
Is this love? Is this love?
So many tongue tied mysteries
As if we have been living in different centuries
Yes we fight but we decide
That this is love, this is love
Well I'll make a change for you
And it's a promise that I'll do
Though we're worlds a part
I will reach for the stars
We will find our stories
and we'll soar the seas
We will make it right
Stay with me tonight
Stay with me forever darling
We'll be alright.
