Each year on 15 February, we observe Total Defence Day. It marks the Fall of Singapore on this day in 1942 during World War II.
It is a reminder that everyone has a part to play to protect Singapore and keep the country safe. This past year has been a test of our Total Defence. We could not have gotten through the crisis to reach our current stable situation, had Singaporeans not stayed united and resilient and looked out for one another.
