I was feeling quite low today due to an imbalance in my body. I have been working hard but sometimes the path seems very unclear and it is challenging, breaking through negativity and being positive all the time... I was ready to throw in the towel today. I was tired and i was down. I didn't even want to be cheered up!... But then i went to a mood rpublik event in johor where my partner opened a booth and i went there to support him. He did not ask me to come but i thought it would be a nice boost for his business. Alhamdulillah hopefully his sales went up today and there were many happy faces smiling to take a pic with this has been artiste. Their smiles charged me up a fair bit. Then i remembered my restaurant was hosting a group of orphans for breaking fast today... So i went there to Comedy Planet JB through the evening JB jam to check on the team handling our weekly ramadhan buffet there. One of the staff messaged on the whatsapp that we had 120 bookings for buffet! What?? 120 bookings??? We have never had that many people at our buffet yet. The team was in shock and ill prepared. Then i remembered a conversation my accountant had with me the previous night. She told me that maybe we should put of hosting the orphans until a date where our finances was better. I told her, about a concept that i truly believe in which is,' the more you give, the more you get'... I said dont even question, when it involves us doing charity. True enough... Our restaurant was filled to the brim today, we even had to turn people away. Thats unheard of. I was worried that there was not going to be enough food but alhamdulillah, there was plenty. The whole team worked hard to make things work. In the end we had 25 orphans eating and having fun. Their smiles made me smile... They laughed, we took photos.... And i forgot that i was actually feeling down today... I know there are some of you who dont understand english and cannot understand what i am saying... Its ok. Obviously this sharing is not for you.
