It’s a whirlwind nowadays, our days feel exactly like a see-saw. Some days, we tip for the better, but on our highest peaks, we fall back into uncertainties. Despite it all, I just wanted to pop by and tell you guys that it is all going to be okay. ❤️
Things may be different, tomorrow may be uncertain, but we gotta remember to be gentle with ourselves. Be gentle with our minds, our heart and our soul. Take the time needed to detach from the world’s problems (if you need), breathe in deeply, treat yourself to the things you wanted. You deserve it. 外交部誠摯歡迎美國聯邦參議員達克沃絲、蘇利文及昆斯來台，3位重量級國會議員特地從訪韓行程排出時間，於今日搭乘軍機旋風訪台，時程超級緊湊，挺台的心意和行動令人感動。外交部吳部長親自接機，對美國參議員組團來訪，帶來美方對台灣堅定支持的訊息表達誠摯歡迎與感謝。
達克沃絲參議員 #代表美國政府宣布將贈與台灣75萬劑疫苗！台灣是第一個美方正式、明確宣布具體援贈疫苗數量的國家，展現美國重視與台灣的夥伴關係，並將堅定支持台灣抗疫。她還提到台灣去年在疫情初期捐贈美國1000萬口罩，令人難忘；蘇利文參議員致詞提到口罩是來自台灣的愛，現在疫苗是來自美國的愛，以作為回報。
達克沃絲參議員更表示：
「我和我的家人都知道自由的代價。我在此告訴各位，美國不會讓你們孤軍奮戰，我們將與你們同在。」
吳部長表示，任何國家均無法孤軍奮戰對抗疫情。感謝美國政府宣布捐贈疫苗給台灣，感謝許多理念相近國家給予台灣的支持。台灣人民將克服疫情，如同我們以力量、團結及堅持戰勝其他挑戰。
達克沃絲、蘇利文及昆斯參議員都是我國在美國會的長期友人。達克沃絲是傳奇美軍英雄，她在伊拉克軍事行動中失去雙腳，也是第一位帶著寶寶在參議院投票的美國參議員，她與蘇利文參議員同為聯邦參議院軍事委員會成員，曾多次在美國會投票力挺友台議案；昆斯則是《台灣保證法》（Taiwan Assurance Act）及《台北法》（TAIPEI Act）的共同提案人，並且是美國總統拜登摯友，與白宮往來密切。
外交部感謝美國國會跨黨派對台灣的強勁支持，將持續與美方攜手合作，共同深化台美緊密的夥伴關係。

MOFA welcomes the whirlwind visit of Senator Tammy Duckworth and Senator Dan Sullivan of the US Senate Armed Services Committee and Senator Chris Coons of the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee to #Taiwan today, to discuss #Taiwan-#US relations, regional security and other issues of mutual concern.
The three-hour visit, part of a larger tour of the #IndoPacific region, is the first overseas delegation to be organized by the Senate Armed Services Committee since the outbreak of the #COVID19 pandemic last year. The senators had to get up very early this morning to make their show of support for Taiwan happen and will return to South Korea immediately afterwards to catch their return flight home. While here they announced the donation of 750,000 vaccines to Taiwan.
