Me in my happy place 🤗
-
A few years ago, spending 4 months bouncing around between gyms would have frustrated me 😤 It’s almost impossible to progressively overload exercises when you’re constantly changing machines. Even if the “weight” is the same, there’s a myriad of different factors that will affect the load placed on the target muscles at different contractile lengths.
-
These days I’m just a different type of geek 🤓 I’m obsessed with admiring machines that are designed well, and the challenge of using ones that aren’t 🧩 I embrace the puzzle of optimising a piece of equipment and how the more experience I build doing so, the better rehearsed I am to help answer questions from coaches because I’ve done the thinking in advance 🤔
-
I’ve also learnt that you rarely come up with a great idea first time round. Provided you’re able to keep a mindset of what you currently think not being “the best” and there always being a slightly better solution, the more times you’ve been around the block, questioned your previous thoughts and adjusted the accordingly, the more refined your current thought processes will be 🧐
-
I train to force strong contractions, and I’m pretty sure that if I push myself hard enough I’m not going to get much weaker just because I’m not being a slave to my logbook 📋 Don’t get me wrong - I’m all for tracking and continued improvement in the pursuit of measured progress, and it has its time and place.
-
For me though, to sustain a passion for being in the gym for a lifetime, you have to follow what currently makes being in that environment as stimulating and fulfilling as possible 😃 In the past it’s been overcoming injuries, optimising for sports performance or just chasing numbers. Currently it’s growing my experience and challenging my critical thinking 🔣
-
Kinda cool how fun a place even the most alien and poorly equipped gym can become, once you’re equipped with the knowledge to take getting “creative” in the gym away from coming up with what is essentially resisted choreography 🕺🏻 and towards playing with The Exercise Continuum & The Exercise Equation (two RTS trademarks) ™️

Recently, we are seeing more children being infected with COVID-19. Vaccination remains one of the best ways to keep ourselves safe. We want to protect as many people as possible, and as soon as possible. We are extending vaccinations to more age groups. We will also stretch the interval between doses to 6-8 weeks, from the current 3-4 weeks. These steps will enable more Singaporeans to get their first dose sooner.
The Multi-Ministry Task Force is tracking the situation closely. Vaccinated or not, do stay home as much as possible, to reduce possible exposure to the virus. If you must head out, make sure to wear a mask with good filtration efficiency, such as those issued by The People's Association or Temasek Foundation.
Let us stay calm and resilient. We will get through this and overcome the virus. – LHL

1. Shorby
Shorby bills itself as an Instagram link supercharger. The paid platform provides Smart Pages that can be branded and customized with videos, GIFs, and links to webpages or social channels.
2. Milkshake
Milkshake was founded by Cyan and Collis Ta’eed, co-founders of one of Envato, to help small businesses and solo entrepreneurs (particularly women) benefit from the bio link, even if they don’t have a website. The free app lets users customize a lightweight mobile landing page with tappable cards (kind of like Stories). Everything from blog posts to YouTube videos to virtual storefronts can be set up on the platform.
3. Omnilink
Created by official Instagram partner Iconosquare, Omnilink launched in May this year. Like Milkshake, it brings your links together and builds a website in the process. But when it comes to desktop presentation, Omnilink offers a little more optimization. Omnilink analytics can be tracked from a dashboard that can be connected with multiple accounts.
4. Sked Link
Sked Link claims to be 4x faster than link-in-bio competitors when it comes to loading pages. Templates feature buttons and shoppable galleries and can be colour-adjusted or completely re-coded. Sked Link also automatically adds UTM parameters and lets you add your Facebook Pixel for better tracking and remarketing.
5. Linktree
Companies like Food Heaven, Golde, and Goode and stars like Selena Gomez and Alicia Keys use Linktree to refer traffic to their destinations of choice. The platform offers customization, third-party integration, and analytics tools—so you can keep tabs on where people click. Linktree also enabled an action feature that subscribers can turn on to promote anti-racism.
Send this to someone who you think will be useful for them! ✨🌿

In this video I am going to show you how to do motion tracking with the Zhiyun Crane Plus needs a mobile phone that got the ZY Play app and is connected to your gimbal with bluetooth. The motion tracking is not only great to follow subjects but also to keep your camera locked onto a subject, which is great for doing hyperlapse shots.

How To Lose Weight | Or Gain Lean Muscles | Full day of eating |

Hey guys! So a lot of you guys have been asking me how I track macros and what I normally eat when I workout. Here's a video including both of that. I started tracking macros earlier this year and got more relaxed a few months ago. I started tracking again last month since I am trying to gain some lean muscles and I've talked about this briefly one of my previous videos. I am not super strict with my macros. I don't track little things like two strawberries, or a cup of almond milk. It is so minor that I don't get worried about it. Also there are days that I don't track fully because sometimes we slack haha. So don't freak out about not tracking 100% of the time. We eat out, we have a life. It's all about balance and what makes you happy. Again it is really fast to track especially if they are the things that you eat regularly. You can just add it to your favourites. Right now I try to eat at least around 200g carbs a day when i'm exercising and my calories intake per day is around 1800. It can be extremely challenging to keep track when I'm travelling so I bring some energy bars with me wherever I go. Just in case I can't find food!
Also I don't cook fancy meals everyday. Today is one of those days that I don't have time to prepare my meals because I have quite a bit of work to do before my Japan trip so I was mostly on my computer all day working. Sometimes I prep my meals for a few days so that it is more time efficient. One more thing! This is how I eat on that particular day. I am just giving you an idea of what I eat one that one day. You can always change it up, make it more delicious or eat out. haha. :)
Hope you enjoyed this video! Also in regards to losing weight, i've talked about being on calories deficit and tracking macros to lose weight in one of my older videos. I got a lot of comments that is unhealthy to count calories. The truth is if you are losing weight you ARE on calories deficit (whether you count your calories or track your macros or not). The reasons why some of us count calories and track macros is because we want to minimise muscle loss, especially in the fitness industry. We want to keep as much muscles as we can while cutting. Also being too low in deficit will probably cause more muscle loss than intended so keeping track of calories and macros helps with that. Hope all that makes sense. :)
As always thanks so much for watching! Appreciate the support!
The curry chicken recipe:
1 onion
2 tsp of garlic
A couple of tablespoons of Mild Curry Powder (3-5)
1kg of chicken breast
100g Coconut milk
1 can of diced tomato or 400g of tomatoes
I stir fry the onion first, add garlic, then add the mild curry spices. You can add more spices later if it's not spicy enough.
After that I add the chicken breast and cook it until it turn white. Add a can of tomatoes and let it cook for 20 minutes or so, or until the sauce thicken. Then I add 100g of coconut milk. Then let it simmer for 10 mins or so. That's it! Super simple!
