[#時事英語] 網上媒體生態日新月異。Twitter的始創人（founder）Evan Williams簡而精（concise and precise）的概括了傳統媒體、推特（Twitter）和網絡作家平台medium之間的分別。
需要概括一件事的本質，用任何的常見名詞（common noun）和抽象名詞（abstract noun），都未必能夠達到既濃縮（condense）又準確（accurate）個時候，關係從句（relative clause）就大派用場了（comes in handy）。
用relative clause，其中一個最有名的例子出現在聖經的出埃及記/ 出谷紀（Exodus）第三章。天主對約瑟/ 梅瑟說：「I am who I am.」中文譯成「我是自有永有的。」這當然是譯意，也說明了relative clause常用於表達不容易言明，而需要意會的意思。
