影片裡的火棍表演者來自法國，名為Alain，是這次我在德國鳳凰火舞節（Phoenix fire convention)認識的表演者，我們一起在gala show分別擁有一段solo表演。
他的英文不太好，剛好我的英文也不怎麼棒，在我們演完gala show鬆一口氣的那天晚上，我們比手畫腳了整夜，他告訴我：他在23歲開始練棍，開始學跳舞、翻滾，15年後的現在他38歲，演出這段表演，我很感動。
整趟歐洲行他讓我學到最多，同樣是Contact staff的愛好者，我看見了光芒，閃閃發光的不只是表演、更看見我想要去到的世界，所謂表演人生。
現在一起來看看他的演出，沒見過這麼慢的棍子與身體，他獨創的美。
