The following suggestions are written on Japanese pet’s shop.The ten suggestions are all written from dog’s perspective. Many gave away or abandoned their dog as they have no idea how it affects ones life style. It is a huge huge comittment. Have you already prepared yourself to take care of another life? If you're getting a dog just for the fun, to look cool, to post pictures on FB, DON'T!
1. 在你把我帶回家之前，請記得，我的壽命没有很长大約有10-15年，你中途的離棄，會是我最大的痛苦
My life likely to last ten to fifteen years. Any separation from you will be painful for me. Remember that before you buy me.
2. 給我一點時間，讓我了解你對我的要求是什麼
Give me time to understand what you want of me.
3. 信賴我，那對我非常重要
Place your trust in me---it’ crucial to my Well-being.
4. 不要對我生氣太久，也別把我關起來當懲罰，你有你的工作，你的娛樂，你的朋友，但我的生活只有你一个
Don’t be angry for me for long and don’t lock me up as punishment. You have your work, your entertainment and your friends. I have only you.
5. 偶而對我說說話，縱使我聽不懂內容，但我聽得懂，那是你的聲音，你在陪伴我
Talk to me sometimes. Even if I don’t understand your words, I understand your voice when it’s speaking to me.
6. 我將永遠不會忘記你怎么样对我
Please be aware that however you treat me. Ill never forget it.
7. 當你打我時請記得，我擁有尖銳的牙齒可以咬碎你的手骨，我只是選擇不咬
Remember before you hit me that I have teeth that could easily crush the bones of your hands, but I choose not to bite you.
8. 當你罵我的不合作固執懶惰之前，請你想想，是否有什麼正困擾著我，或許我沒有足夠的食物，也或許我太久沒有在陽光下奔跑，也許我的心臟已經太衰老了
Before you scold me for being uncooperative, please ask yourself if something might be bothering me. Perhaps I am not getting the right food, or I have not been running in the sun too long or my heart is getting old and too weak.
9. 當我年老時，請好好照顧我，因為有一天你也會變老的
Take care of me when I get old. You too, you will grow old.
10. 當我要捱過最辛苦的歷程時，千萬不要說我不忍心看他，或者，當我不在場時才發生，只有你和我在一起，所有事情都變的簡單容易接受。請你永遠不要忘記，我愛你
Go with me on difficult journeys. Never say I cannot bear to watch it or let it happen in my absent. Everything is easily for me if you are there. Remember, I love you!
