และ Hades กับ The Last of Us Part II ก็มากวาดรางวัลอีกมากมายจากเวทีของงานนี้ แม้ว่าตอนนี้ สื่อหลายสำนักหรือหลายเจ้ากำลังวิเคราะห์กันอย่างหนักว่าเกมใดกันแน่ที่สมควรจะได้รับรางวัลเกมแห่งปี 2021

และนี่คือช่วงสุดท้ายที่จะพูดถึงเกมของปี 2020 เมื่อสมาคม IDGA หรือ International Game Developers Association องค์กรไม่แสวงหาผลกำไรระดับโลก ได้จัดงาน Global Game Industry Awards ขึ้นเป็นครั้งแรก เพื่อเป็นเกียรติให้แก่งานเขียน ศิลปะหรือเทคโนโลยีที่ดีที่สุดของปี 2020

Hades นั้น กวาดไปมากถึง 9 รางวัล ทั้งการออกแบบ การเล่าเรื่อง แอนิเมชั่น 2 มิติ การออกแบบตัวละคร และเสียง เกมถูกยกย่องว่าเป็นสุดยอดเกมแนว Roguelike และเป็นเกมอินดี้ยอดเยี่ยมประจำปี 2020 ในขณะที่ทาง The Last of Us Part II นั้น ได้ในส่วนของการผจญภัยที่ขับเคลื่อนด้วยเรื่องราวอันเข้มข้น การออกแบบ 3D Animation และเนื้อเรื่องที่ยอดเยี่ยม

นอกจากสองเกมนี้ ยังมีทั้ง Ghost of Tsushima, Half-Life: Alyx, Assassin's Creed Valhalla กวาดรางวัลไปอีกหลาย ๆ สาขาด้วย
