2006 畢業於國立台灣藝術大學美術系
2010 出版攝影集，王建揚《宅》攝影作品選輯
2011「第三屆NIKON Through Asian Eyes」亞洲區年度推薦攝影師
2011「Epson百人攝影聯展—意識顯影」編導式攝影主題代表攝影師
2012「2012南瀛獎」攝影類評審委員
現職：藝術家 / 創作媒材：攝影、繪畫、裝置
2006年國立台灣藝術大學美術系畢業，主修油畫創作，大學時期因接觸舞蹈攝影而開始自學攝影，退伍後曾做過自由攝影師兩年，因為想要追求自己的夢想而開 始投入創作。以自己一個人裸身獨自在家的生活體驗下，觸發了我拍攝「宅」系列的念頭。「宅」系列的作品，前後拍了兩年多，從起初單純只是裸身人物與空間的 互動，到後來把家當作一個幻想空間，試圖在一個真實的空間裡，創造出超現實般的幻想情境體驗。
2009年拍攝< 宅 >系列攝影作品即榮獲村上隆舉辦的第一屆GEISAI TAIWAN龜井誠一評審獎，2010年再度於第二屆GEISAI TAIWAN以繪畫作品< TOYS>奪下金獎，並且得到美國IPA國際攝影大賽獲得純藝術類三項第一名，另獲Photography Masters Cup國際攝影大賽裸體類第二名、法國PX3國際攝影大賽表演藝術類第二名、日本JPS攝影大賽優選獎等肯定。出版<宅> 攝影作品選輯，由大藝出版社發行。
2011年與五月天阿信、不二良、聶永真、古又文於華山創意園區舉辦< 一克拉的夢想 >當代美學展 ，三個月的展期共有九萬人次的觀眾購票參觀，宅系列攝影作品並先後獲邀於英國倫敦、澳洲墨爾本、墨西哥、美國聖地牙哥、東京、上海、香港、北京、台北等地展覽。

The best kind of travel!! Watch as mama and I went on an adventure travel to Sydney and around New South Wales, Australia!! So many exciting and fun stuff you can do outdoors from the iconic Bridge Climb, to Quad Biking, Camel Riding, Ballooning, Bush Walking, as well as exploring Vivid Sydney, which only happens during the winter season. Oh not forgetting, indulging in all the delicious healthy food Sydney has to offer!

We did this trip in a week! It's definitely a must do when you visit Sydney with your family.
