My private and personal talk with the local Shaman in Ubud, Bali. Didn’t really expect much walking over to see her, but she said a lot of things that really hit the spot. We went on quite an experience yesterday - woke up at 5 am and drove to Ubud. We met up with our guide/group that brought us to the temple where we did meditation and a powerful cleansing ritual where we were told to let go of all the bad things that’s happened/happening in our lives, remove all the bad energy/negativity to move forward. I did my best to open my mind to everything around me that I saw and was said to me because I am not the most spiritual or religious type of person. The water was refreshing and clean (and cold). The temple was authentic and not touristy at all (all locals) and I honestly thought it was a magical and unique experience. I had a lot of respect for the entire ritual and embraced the belief. The team was only 8 (5 girls and 3 guys from all around the world), had fun with them and enjoyed the breakfast at a lovely location. We then went to meet the local shaman (who didn’t speak English, so Luh (our guide) translated everything. You go one by one as it’s a very personal talk and reading. She used my name and birthday to do numerology as well as looked at my palms. I cried probably 3 times during (not to be controlled) but the talk was deep and it really resonated with my internal and external issues. An experience I won’t forget. It’s great that you can now not only book homes, but these kind of experiences all around the world on Airbnb.
Especially because you can read honest reviews from people who went and tried the different experiences.
Wether what was said was true or not, I am going to take everything in. Both the positive/negative and constructive comments that were made to help me move forward with my life.
