BEAUTY.
No matter how glorious or vibrant we once were, in the end we all wilt. External beauty is only fleeting and temporary, aging is part of this life that we are given. Silly are those who try to reverse time or hold on to them. It is like trying to hold water with your bare hands and praying they wouldn't flow away. Afraid of accepting what we have in the present, and constantly trying to living in the glory of the past, is a painful way of living.
At every stage of our life, there is beauty in it - in its purest, most natural state. It is important to align our heart and mind to this external physique that we have and hold. That in itself, is beauty.
These thoughts came to me as i was talking my morning walk last week. I missed spending time with myself (in nature), allowing my thoughts to run wherever they desire. There's magic in nature, it draws out deep and philosophical thoughts in me. There's beauty everywhere, in every situation, every relationship, every story. There's beauty even in ugliest stage of my life. And this is beauty, now that i am able to appreciate them.
I am grateful for this period of break. It may be called Circuit Breaker now, and who knows what name it'll be called in the future. But i am truly grateful for it. For I know one day, in the midst of my crazy, busy, hectic and stressful schedule, I'll look back at this period of time that i had, and I'll miss it utterly.
