Penyanyi dan pelakon popular China, Kris Wu, kini menghadapi pertuduhan melakukan kesalahan seksual terhadap gadis bawah umur.

Dia telah ditangkap oleh polis Beijing pada 31 Julai yang lalu.

Kris yang juga merupakan bekas ahli kumpulan K-pop, EXO, ditangkap selepas satu pendedahan yang dibuat oleh seorang influencer dalam media sosial bulan lalu.

Susulan pendedahan itu, sekurang-kurangnya 24 orang gadis muda turut tampil mendakwa menjadi mangsa, dengan ada di antara mereka merupakan peminat kepada penyanyi itu.

ULASAN

Apa yang kita tonton di dalam drama Korea tentang bagaimana mereka yang berharta, berpengaruh atau popular boleh menggunakan satu sama lain untuk mendiamkan jenayah mereka. Mereka sanggup merasuah dan mengugut mana-mana penjawat awam demi menyelamatkan diri atau sahabat mereka.

Namun, di situ ada sekumpulan kecil individu yang tegas melaksanakan tugas mereka dengan begitu amanah bagi mendapatkan keadilan untuk mangsa-mangsa walaupun diri mereka diancam dan dicaci masyarakat.

Adakala penjenayah tidak dapat diheret ke muka pengadilan atau terlepas dari dakwaan tetapi bak kata pepatah; "Old habit die hard" maka penjenayah itu pasti akan melakukan jenayahnya sekali lagi. Kenapa?

Ini kerana pada pemangsa dan penjenayah, dia sudah terlepas kerana popularitinya sambil dibantu orang berkedudukan dan berpengaruh untuk terlepas maka dia merasa selamat untuk terus melakukan jenayahnya.

Mungkin bukan hari ini tetapi akan tiba masanya. Sepandai-pandai tupai melompat, PASTI akan jatuh ke tanah juga. Bila tupai jatuh, pasti masih ada sekumpulan 'fans' yang fanatik berkumpul bersolidariti untuknya sebagaimana dalam kes Kris Wu ini.

K-Drama banyak menceritakan kisah sebenarnya di dalam dunia kita pada hari ini. Saya baru menghabiskan 2 musim 'Partners For Justice' dan sedang menanti musim ke-3. Ya, Dr K masih hidup dan Dr. Baek Bom masih dengan caranya walaupun dibenci rakan sekerja dan orang yang tidak suka pembongkaran jenayah menerusi cari 'autopsi' beliau.

Sony Music artists across Asia have united to create a stunning rendition of Taiwanese superstar Eric Chou’s original track “Forever Beautiful.” The new collaborative version titled “Forever Beautiful: All for One Version” features Eric Chou alongside 14 artists from nine regions across Asia singing in both Chinese and English.

In “Forever Beautiful: All for One Version”, the 14 collaborating artists joined Eric Chou by recording their parts remotely across the Asia region, to convey an important message through these touching lyrics: we may speak and sing in different languages and represent the many ethnicities and cultures of Asia, but we are all united with solidarity and support. In these challenging times, music can bring hope and peace along with the message of love and compassion.

Alongside Eric Chou, the artists featured in “Forever Beautiful: All for One Version” represent the vibrant and diverse roster of Sony Music Asia, including Eric Chou (the original singer/songwriter) and singer Kelly Cheng from Taiwan, Wafa, a member from Bahiyya Haneesa (an acapella group from Malaysia), R&B-pop singer NYK, Singaporean artists Benjamin Kheng, Narelle and Sezairi, HÀ LÊ, a vocalist from Vietnam, popular indie-folk-pop band Ben&Ben from the Philippines, singer-songwriter and producer E.viewz from South Korea, singer Fatin from Indonesia, singer-songwriter Jocelyn C from Beijing, and Hong Kong artists Phil Lam, Jason Chan, and Cath Wong.

The video for “Forever Beautiful: All for One Version” features a montage of footage featuring all 15 artists singing their parts, along with images that reflect the current situation across the Asian region.
