Organic farming follows a technical-scientific approach, it focuses on the needs of the plant, with the analysis of the soil and the observation of fruits and leaves, giving up synthetic chemicals. It does not use persistent toxic pesticides, synthetic fertilizers and GMOs. The concept of organic has established itself much later in the years, compared to biodynamics.
Biodynamic agriculture uses the same techniques as organic agriculture plus others, defined by Rudolf Steiner (1861-1902) and consolidated in the following decades. It has a more spiritual and philosophical approach. In general, it can be said that it is more complex than the biological one, in particular for three principles: the company as a vital and productive system, biodynamic preparations, the phases of the moon.
