A 45 minutes boat ride from Kota Belud will take you to the picturesque Mantanani Island. Snorkelling, diving, and ATV rides are amongst the activities that you can enjoy on the island. If you are lucky, you might see the rare Blue Tears, a natural phenomenon where the ocean glows and glitters like the stars in the sky thanks to the bioluminescence sea that glows when it’s disturbed by a wave breaking or a splash in the water at night.
