Another new show announcement but before that... I would like to address a few questions that I have received after announcing trial shows on 26-27 Feb in Crackhouse KL. Not anyone's fault/ignorance in this beautiful growing comedy scene.
1) Why are your trial shows on such weird days like Mon & Tues?
Because it's a trial show and packing the place is always great but isn't my priority at this point. I booked Mon & Tues because it was convenient for me and the club.
2) What is a trial show?
Generally it means a show that is in a workshopping stage or even a work in progress. Different comedians have different goals depending on which stage of writing they're in. I have completed writing on mine but I have never performed it therefore my goals with my trial show is to see if what I think should happen in my head will happen in real life, hear the show being performed, to see how it fares with an audience, and also it is practice. At the very worst, rewrite.
3) Does this mean your trial show is a bad show?
No, I am very good. Like super. So you should come.
4) Regarding point #3...I still am not convinced. Also, why is it on such a weird day like Mon & Tues?
