我唔建議OT，但而家香港邊會唔使OT？
再承接返上個令大家熱烈討論的topic：OT。
OT，應該係大部分打工仔最唔想遇到的其中一種情況，就連mike導的「無制限OT編集団」都唱過「係咁OT我畀埋条命你好冇？」、「係啊冇$㗎我為什麽要做奴隷？」。究竟OT呢樣嘢，係咪必需？又或者係咪真心咁難接受？
現今的OT主要分幾種：
1. 超時即補水
2. 超時冇補水
3. 超時冇補水，但超過零晨就可claim 的士錢兼第二日遲返
第一種，多數關係到體力勞動嘅，例如飲食業及建築地盤等，做過呢行的人就會明白佢所賺嘅真係叫「辛苦錢」，所以一般老闆會用錢去留住員工為佢OT。
第二種，相信都係大部份朝九晚五的打工仔處境，工作較為彈性自主、冇話特別趕、可以留返聽日做，老闆都認為冇乜OT的必要，你OT可能係你手腳慢，所以亦唔會補水。
第三種，其工種必會遇到OT至零晨的情況，最常見係做creative的人，例如雜誌、廣告、電視台、電影等等，定期需overnight趕埋稿趕deadline，但大多數員工因為對份工好有passion，所以辛苦但都心甘命抵，捱完個通頂得來的滿足感大過金錢。
其實打工仔喺揀一份工之前，都大約估計到份工的性質需唔需要OT，見工時都心中有數，所以當HR喺面試時問你接唔接受到OT時，大約都會估到佢係咪循例一問。唔少HR會以呢個方式去旁敲側擊求職者有冇責任感同埋夠唔夠效率，如果你話肯OT，多數HR都會覺得你係一個有commitment的人。（苦笑）
但當然，每間公司都有自己的文化，不能以偏概全。例如我曾經有個fresh grad學員入咗ViuTV做PA，好多時都返10am放11pm，不過佢有passion，所以做得開心。又例如KOL雪姨，聽聞佢的員工個個都10pm先放工（利申：返幾點工我就唔知，有冇讀者知？）。之不過亦有啲old-fashioned 日本公司，可能真係會照足日本嗰套OT文化，老闆未走就算員工已經做晒啲嘢都唔使旨意走，咁我就覺得唔make sense。而日本都開始意識到呢個問題，所以早排就有套日劇叫做《我要準時下班》 （わたし、定時で帰ります。），探討下員工唔敢準時放工的問題。
Work-life balance好重要，為咗杜絕非必要的OT，大家不妨諗方法增強效率，例如重新估計工作模式達至減省無謂工序及時間，又或者揀一份雖然會有OT但起碼自己有passion、學到嘢的工。但如果你對自己的職涯又冇諗法又冇規劃過，不如等我或者我的團隊幫你做Career Coaching，教你如果遇到HR問及OT問題時你如何得體地回應，甚至幫你搵到自己的職場perfect match？

A while back I wrote this song which featured @dudemakesbeats. This song always held a special place in my heart as it was written during a time when I was experiencing a lot of transitions in my life and I felt very lost about where music stood in my life.
Looking back, even though this was written as a love song, I may have subconsciously projected these feelings surrounding my passion for music into the lyrics.
Like a toxic love that you keep yearning for, I kept chasing the music dream even though it kept letting me down and wasn’t really a path that made logical sense.
I’m probably thinking too much into this though and this is just another cheesy love song haha 😆
