Even if I dived many times with sea turtles, I always appreciate to watch them being so calm, passive, independent and graceful. Sea turtles are usually solitary until they mate.
You can usually recognize if it’s a male or female looking at the tail.
As the male reproductive organ is located in the base of the tail, his tail is longer and thicker. And scientists can identify them thanks to their different carapace patterns.
