昨天在Netflix上看「Marriage Story（婚姻故事）」這部電影，
誰看過？舉手舉手！
我相信每個人一定都有自己鍾愛的一段，
我自己最愛的是開頭，
兩人各自寫了一段喜歡對方的部分，
（目的是什麼我不能說，因為會小爆雷…）
因為太喜歡這段了，所以看完之後決定用這段當作今天練英文的素材。
看起來好長一段，但相信我，當下在聽打的時候真的一點都不感覺無聊冗長，只覺得怎麼這麼簡單的文字、簡短的話，但卻這麼深刻，真的太扣人心弦了！

我自己練習的步驟：
關掉字幕一句一句聽打出內容 ->對照英文看有沒有錯，順便用自己的話理解 -> 對照中文，加深裡面出現的idioms / slang 的印象 -> 抄寫其中很愛的幾句在英文筆記本裡（因為聽打的階段我是用電腦打字）

常常在聽打的時候，就會很驚訝發現，
天啊！這句話我以為很難講耶，沒想到竟然用這麼簡單的字就可以表達這麼好！
這種「WOW~太神奇了吧！」就成為每次我在練習時的樂趣，呵呵～

例如
She always knows the right thing to do when it comes to difficult family shit.
difficult family shit – 翻譯是翻「嚴重的家庭危機」，但我更喜歡自己的詮釋「跟家庭/家人有關的鳥事」
很多人看到「家庭危機」一定直白想到什麼crisis / issue 甚至 problem之類的，是也可以啦，但family shit就更口語表達這種”shitty things”，滿可愛的耶！

She’s always inexplicably brewing a cup of tea that she doesn’t drink.
Inexplicable / inexplicably – 中文解釋是「無法解釋、令人費解的(地)」，之前一直覺得這個字好像都用在比較文鄒鄒的地方，沒想到在這裡可以當做「她總能神奇地泡好一杯茶，雖然她自己不喝」，有點這種「我真的搞不懂她欸」的感覺。

I get stuck in my ways, and she knows when to push me and when to leave me alone.
Get stuck in my ways – 翻譯雖然是翻「裹足不前」，但平常我們講話真的很少用這個成語呀！所以我自己詮釋是「我自己卡關、猶豫不決很想逃避的時候」
Leave me alone – 字面上解釋是「不要管我讓我一個人獨處或是你走開啦」，但語氣比較平和地講的時候也可以表達「可以讓我靜一靜嗎？/ 給我一點時間冷靜好不好？」

She always says when she doesn’t know something, or hasn’t read a book, or seen a film or a play, whereas I fake it and say something like “I haven’t seen it for a while”.
（她不知道的事情或是還沒看過的書、電影或戲劇，她就會老實說沒看過，不像我會裝懂的說「我很久沒看了」。）
這句我自己講的話一定會分很多句才能表達清楚…自己也做筆記學起來

Nicole grew up in LA around actors, and directors, and movies and TV, and is very close to her mother, Sandra and Cassie, her sister.
Nicole gives great presents.
She is a mother who plays, really plays. She never steps off playing or says it’s too much. And it must be too much some of the time.
She’s competitive.
She’s amazing at opening jars because of her strong arms, which I’ve always found very sexy.
She keeps the fridge over-full. No one is ever hungry in our house.
She can drive a stick.
After that movie, All Over The Girl”, she could’ve stayed in LA and been a movie star, but she gave that up and do theater with me in New York.
She’s brave.
She’s a great dancer, infectious. She makes me wish I could dance.
She always says when she doesn’t know something, or hasn’t read a book, or seen a film or a play, whereas I fake it and say something like “I haven’t seen it for a while”.
My crazy ideas are her favorite things to figure out how to execute.
She’s my favorite actress.

【旅行隨筆】第一次大白天喝伏特加喝到吐😨 一切都要從昨天從 Khiva 搭乘 450公里的共乘車子開始說起...🚘

不知道為什麼本來查到的火車班次是因為淡季沒開，還是票賣完了。我們必須從古城 Khiva 搭40分鐘的共乘車（USD$1）到下個大城市 Urgench（中途碰到一位剛好今天要飛要去蘭州留學三年的男子，用很不標準的中文跟我們對話～）🚘

接著再搭乘每人 USD$10 的車資前往下個距離這裡430KM 的主要城鎮 Bukhara 🚕 共乘車子就是這樣，有時候你是最後一組客人，一上車就可以走了😆

等到我們司機接到其他四位客人，已經過了一個多小時了...我們九點半就離開了旅館，十二點才發車...重點是私人 Taxi 才 USD$40🤣 人家說在中亞就是要共乘車子才有趣，果然不錯...😅

下午我們停到一家餐廳，直接進去廚房！廚房內居然有個巨大的魚池，裡面的魚都超大！在英文不通的狀況下，真不知道這是要買魚還是吃午餐😐 「一公斤五美金。」司機用計算機打出來。由於當下我以為要買魚回家，馬上說 NO。

於是大家又上車開到另一家餐廳，又直接進去廚房看魚！這家餐廳跟前家比起來根本沒人，於是我們又回到第一家😅

「跟當地人吃應該不會被坑了吧...」我們悄聲與對方說。

一坐下去就麵包、茶水、居然還有沾麵包的番茄醬（以前都沒有）🍅 這時烏茲別克叔叔們點了伏特加，想說可以消毒，就喝了一杯😛

應該是說他們是用飲茶大小的碗來喝酒，而且都是全滿。剛喝下去還好，接著不知道為什麼就被灌了四杯😅 完全沒料到後勁超強 😂 叔叔還指著可樂的顏色說我的臉跟可樂一樣紅了😳

酒量好的 York 當然沒事啦！連續開了三瓶 😲 這時叔叔從一個小包裝拿出一些葉子，要他把嘴巴張開放到舌頭後面。「像這樣子嗎？」他大嘴巴的說。

突然他神色一變，表情變化多端。「天啊！我完全酒醒，這該不會是古柯鹼吧？」「古柯鹼應該是粉不是葉子吧...🍃」

叔叔在耳朵旁比了旋轉的手勢，York 說他整個耳朵在響，趕快跑去洗手台吐掉😝 而烏茲別克叔叔們都在大笑，很滿意的看著我們。看來我們成功不靠語言就交了朋友？叔叔們不時關心我如何，告訴我等下上車就會直接睡到目的地🚘

確實沒錯... 我站起來出去外面透透氣，不到兩秒就把食物吐出來了！我的魚...😭 而且是廁所都還沒有走到，就吐在餐廳的花圃上...🌹

接下來的車程我真的是睡死...醒來頭也超痛的... 這餐真的吃太飽，兩人吃一公斤的魚肉含酒才 USD$7！果然在古城被坑很大 🙄 就這樣... 結束了我們在烏茲別克第一個有趣的體驗😂

First time getting drink on Vodka in broad daylight ☀️ Projectile vomited across a flower bed😨🌹 Slept through a 450KM car ride while walking up with massive headache 🚘

Uzbeks are crazy drinkers! Never again!!!!

So the day started with us taking a shared taxi from Khiva to Urgench for USD$1 each on a 40 min car ride🚖

Then we negotiated another shared taxi to Bukhara which is 430KM away for USD$10 per person. As we were the first passengers, we waited for an hour before the driver found 4 other ppl then he's finally ready to go!

Mind you, a whole private cab is only USD$40...😐 However, they say shared taxi are part of Central Asia experience and they not wrong🤣

We visited two restaurants along the way and headed straight into their kitchen😶 Had no idea what's happening as no one speaks English but there were MANY fishes swimming inside this large pond😲🐟

Turns out they were deciding which restaurant was fresher. One kilogram of fish was USD$5, this clearly shows that our food in Khiva was a rip off🙄

The fried fishes were delicious but the highlight was probably the local men kept pouring vodka for us and guess we bonded that way...???😂

York had like 7 BOWLS of straight vodka while I had 4 😆 Had to run outside to use the toilet but really I was vomiting out the food...🤢

Between 4 or 5 of us, we finished 3 bottles of Vodka 😲 No joke... THEN... this man got out a packet of tobacco (?) Or leaves of some sort and told York to put it underneath his tongue 👅

Within a few seconds he sobered up! With ears ringing through his ears👂 It was quite crazy LOL. He whispered to me asking me if it was cocaine, I'm like I thought cocaines are powders not leaves???🌿

Anyways... We truly bonded with the them thanks to York who's able to tolerate alcohol 😛

Didn't get rip off for food as those fresh fishes were only USD$7 for two of us including bread, tea and drinks🍸 Finally, a decent meal in Uzbekistan after so many days!!!

Slept like a baby in the car ride...No shit 😂

Ps. I think "York" means "No" in Uzbek, in Russian "Neh!"

●ズッキーニ：2本（お好みの夏野菜、お肉でもOK）
●お好みのとろけるチーズ：お好み量
［やみつき黄金ソース］
●マヨネーズ：大さじ3
●卵黄：2個（白身はスープの具材やお菓子作りとかに使ってね）
●粒マスタード：大さじ1
●白味噌：小さじ2（普通の味噌を使う場合は、味噌小さじ1と砂糖小さじ1で代用してね）
●醤油：適量
お好みでニンニク少々入れてもすっごく美味しいよ♪
※ズッキーニの最初の火入れはお好みで！僕たちは少し食感を残したいので短めにしてますが、すっごくトロトロにしたい場合は焼き目がつくまでしてあげて下さい。

旬のズッキーニが最高に簡単で美味しく食べられるレシピ
『ズッキーニのやみつき黄金チーズ焼き』を作りました。
マヨネーズと卵黄が合わさった濃厚ソースに粒マスタードのほのかな酸味と香り、
味噌のコクと風味が絶妙にマッチして最高にやみつきソースになってます。
とにかくこの『やみつき黄金ソース』が恐ろしく最高に旨いんですが
これさえ覚えておけば、お好みの野菜、肉、魚の上に乗せて焼くだけで
お店で出てくるような素材を活かした最高に美味しい逸品料理が
簡単に出来ちゃう優れものなんです( *´艸｀)
しかも『やみつき黄金ソース』を乗せてトースターやオーブンで焼くだけなので
夏の暑い時期でも涼しい顔して作れちゃいますよ♪
是非、今夜のお酒のお供に作って、最高の晩酌しちゃって下さい。

[Ingredients]
● Zucchini: 2 (or any summer vegetable or meat you like)
● Melted cheese of your choice: as much as you like
[Golden sauce]
● Mayonnaise: 3 tablespoons
● Egg yolks: 2 (use the whites for soup ingredients or baking)
● Mustard: 1 tablespoon
● White miso paste : 2 teaspoons (If you use regular miso, substitute
1 teaspoon miso and 1 teaspoon sugar)
● Soy sauce: appropriate amount
You can add a little garlic if you like ♪
※ The initial cooking of the zucchini is up to you! If you want them
to be very tender, cook them until they start to brown.

This is the easiest and most delicious recipe for zucchini in season!
I made "Addictive Baked Zucchini with Golden Cheese Sauce".
It's the perfect combination of a thick sauce of mayonnaise and egg

It's a perfect match, making it the most addictive sauce.

Moreover, you only need to put "Addictive Gold Sauce" on it and bake it in a toaster or oven, which you can make it with a cool face even in the hot summer season ♪
