I was going through one of the questions I got in my DM's that I almost missed.
A young woman was saying that she's struggling to try to get her business off the ground.
Some Shopify store or something, trying dropshipping.
So I dug deeper and asked her how long she's been doing this.
"2 years," she told me.
So I messaged her back, “What skill do you have to support this business, let alone your family?"
"Dropshipping is my skill”
"No, it's not.”
I went on...
"Dropshipping is a hope. It's a short-term band-aid. You can't ALWAYS make money as a dropshipper. That's not something that you'll be able to depend on year after year, no matter what.
"You need a fundamental skill that you can use for a lifetime. A skill that you can depend on no matter what happens in the marketplace."
"Well, what skills you do you suggest?" She asked.
"There are many out there. Consulting, copywriting, coaching, Facebook ads, dance instructing and many more.
"But of course,” I went on, “a lot of these skills can be very hard to use if you can’t get someone to give you money, which is why I teach high ticket closing.”
"What's high ticket closing?" She asked.
