Taralamas River Canyon at Kg. Tiang Lama, Ranau. A wonderful place to be, mystically beautiful 😍 . Life jackets for safety (to those who can't swim don't worry 👌🏼). A short trip into the canyon due to the number of pax on a weekend (can max out to 60pax per day), we had to wait for our turn to go in. If less people (advisable weekdays) can go further.

Some part a bit deep, just hold on to the rope and you will be fine. Thanks to the guides (our guide is Adrian and there was another guide) who took care of us. They were shivering while waiting for us 🤭😅🙈

Also thank you @raitoism our designated photographer coz he had his phone with him hahahha. 🙏🏻 I had my osmo action camera but couldn't capture this beautiful scene above in Pic 5 that I edited to look closest to how it was when I see it (still doesn't do justice I feel coz it looks serene when I was there.

Chances are, there would be leeches in this trail 🤭 not too many though. The first one was this cute tiger leech on my left hand that our guide took off of me (I just wanna leave it there till it's fat 🤣) and some small ones (the usual ones we see).
.
There's some along the trails, don't be alarmed, just donate some blood 🙈. I had some jumped on me or was crawling in between my boobs (awkward). Also 2 bites on my right foot and one near my armpit that I only realize when I got back to the Homestay 😅
.
If you're bitten, then just leave it there till it's full coz they will fall off eventually. Pulling it off when they already bit u will just make things worst. Nonstop bleeding. Just get someone to help you take it off if they jumped on you.

Tips: You can use Salt, Moziguard, Dettol to remove it off you.
.
Also spotted a Trilobite Bettle 😍 ahhhh I need to spot more bugs plz 🙏🏻 they're always in hiding when I tried looking for them 😌@chkoh28 ada ko jumpa bugs ka? 🤣
