Hey everyone, this is a very important message from me as a musician to my fans.
I am currently working very, very hard to finish my next album.
I am planning to sing more in English, and the songs I've been writing these days have never been more "real".
I finally feel like I am doing what I want to be doing, whether I am allowed to or not.
There has been a long period of silence in my career, because music does not sell these days. Releasing a cd with no sales can end my career so fast, if not already.
Plus, there has been ZERO promotion, besides me personally posting news on this site, with Facebook limiting the amount of the reach of posts.
But I have been uploading many, many songs recently, (on soundcloud, soundcloud.com/vellysillybilly) and this is because I wanted to share the joy of the songs that saves my life everyday.
Life is short and I don't want to keep my songs in the dark anymore. It's been way too long.
I don't even know if I am going to have the budget to release my new album at all.
But I want to keep doing this, for my fans and the people who support me.
When I upload songs that are free to download, please feel free to share them.
When I come out with my new album and if you like it, it would be fantastic if you could purchase it.
