2021 奧地利林茲電子藝術節台灣展區「台北/福爾摩沙花園：島嶼壯遊」
展區 ✨ 【行動啟程 】(Action Tour )

To cope with the impact of Covid-19, a scientific and efficient action in the digital world must be taken. The Taipei Urban Intelligence Center has developed a digital system that can quickly respond to the risk landscape, people flow, and medial resources across different parts of Taipei by integrating live streaming and data instantly. It also informs the policies of the government. The digitized action on the ground helps us build a more secured environment.
In the face of the rapid development of the digital world, people immersed in the VR environment seem to ignore the depletion of resources in our reality. As a result, we need to take real actions and devote ourselves to reuse the discarded resources to make an environment of circularity and sustainability through digital technology. MINIWIZ, a start-up company from Taiwan, committed to developing technology for recycling that turns industrial and household wastes into materials with purposes and aesthetics.
During the tour, a new performance art project is inspired by the digital cross-field cooperation for the first time. The Taipei Urban Intelligence Center will join hands with new media artist Chin-Hsiang Hu and the founder of Roboenter Ghung-I Hung, to create a new media artwork “The Weight of Data” by integrating both virtual and physical materials from different domains and sharing data resources.
Finally, it is in fact not the end for “Taiwan Grand Tour.” Instead, the “Action Tour” program unveils the journey to come, constantly connecting the digital world with our society. A link for a time-limited viewing of the details of action plans for this program as well as the joint art project will be available.

為了抵禦疫情的衝擊，我們需要在數位世界中採取科學且有效率的行動，台北大數據中心(Taipei Urban Intelligence Center)即研發了一套數位系統，透過即時的串流連結與數據整合，可以快速的反應台北各個地區的疫情風險趨勢、人流狀況與醫療資源的狀態，也可提供政府作為政策的判斷依據，數位化的實質行動，讓我們可以得到更安全的防護。
在面對數位世界的快速發展之下，沉浸於虛擬環境的我們，似乎忘卻了對於現實世界資源的消耗，因此我們需要真正的採取行動，運用數位科技的方式，重新利用我們廢棄的資源，讓環境可以永久的循環，為我們的環境盡一份心力。而小智研發(MINIWIZ)是一間來自台灣的新創公司，致力於回收材料研發科技，將工業用與家庭用的廢料，透過設計賦予它機能與美感。
而在此展區中，也首度以數位跨界的合作方式，刺激出新的行動藝術計畫，臺北市大數據中心將與新媒體藝術家胡縉祥)、樂飛特公司創辦人洪仲儀合作，進行跨域的虛實整合及數據資源共享，一同創作新媒體藝術作品《The Weight of Data》。
最終，觀者在此並不是「島嶼壯遊」的不是真正的終點，而藉由行動之旅(Action Tour)的展區開啟下一段旅程，數位世界與我們的社會持續串聯。

誠品畫廊將於8月7日至9月4日推出展覽「動漫未來」，邀請5國共25位藝術家參展，展出100餘件作品，包含油畫、版畫、雕塑、水彩、膠彩、絹印、動畫等多種形式，展覽將以藝術沙龍的方式，全面呈現藝術家們所帶來的精彩作品。

在疫情的天空下，病毒限制了人類的行動力，卻限制不住想像力。2020年末《鬼滅之刃：無限列車篇》在台、日兩地皆創下可觀的票房。現實世界的阻礙，反而助長我們在二次元世界馳聘的動力，幻想不死，隨時隨地都能復活再戰鬥。在社群網路推波助瀾下，ACGIT（Animation、Comic、Game、Illustration、Toy）產業持續進化，在與藝術、美學混血之後，逕自開出一片奇幻花園。

ESLITE GALLERY is delighted to present Animamix Flux from August 7 to September 14, 2021. Inviting 25 artists from 5 countries and featuring more than 100 works, the exhibition includes artworks as variegated as oil paintings, prints, sculptures, watercolors, eastern gouache, silkscreens and animations. Curated in the form of an art salon, it showcases these wonderful works in all their glory.

The pandemic reality has limited our physical mobility, but not our imaginative creativity. Anime film Demon Slayer: Mugen Train was a box office hit in both Taiwan and Japan as 2020 drew to an end. The obstacles in the real world are fueling our dream to roam in the two-dimensional world, where fantasy is immortal and we can come back to life to fight the bad guys over and over again. Driven by the power of social networks, ACGIT (Animation, Comic, Game, Illustration and Toy) industry continues to evolve and grow. It has organically opened up a fantasy garden after hybridizing with art and aesthetics.

Since ESLITE GALLERY staged Ultra New Visions, a solo exhibition of Japanese artist Hiroyuki MATSUURA, for the first time in 2007, we have been keenly following the aesthetics of anime and manga. In 2021, ESLITE GALLERY intends to explore the boundless possibilities of anime aesthetics. We are inviting young artists empowered with anime and manga DNA from countries in Asia to put on a group exhibition in August in post-COVID Taipei.

"At age of nine, I lived through Pixar on a screen/ And every single problem seemed so little then to me/ 'Cause Flik still saved the anthill even though I couldn't see beyond/ The kids at school that hated me and my insecurity/ Oh I thought I was invincible/ But Mr. Incredible could only take so much," he croons on the melancholy single.

“'Fairytale" is about the moment where someone you look up to lets you down," Livingston, who hails from Denton, Texas, tells Billboard. "Putting this idea in the form of Pixar superheroes felt like the right way for me to tell my story. Everyone knows these stories and their moral lessons, so drawing from them gave me a really easy starting point to express my warning about putting all of your faith in someone who is just as human as you are.”

“We knew there was something special about Livingston from the moment we met him," add Elektra Music Group co-presidents Mike Easterlin and Gregg Nadel. "At seventeen years old, it’s already evident he is a true artist -- from writing and recording to mixing and producing all on his own, we know it’s just the beginning for Livingston. Dumb Ways to Die is the theme song of the public service announcement campaign released by Metro Trains in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia to promote railway safety. Both the song and the campaign went viral briefly in November 2012 and received worldwide acclaim for its effectiveness, endearing and engaging quality. The song and campaign have grown so well-loved that the characters continue to be recognisable and have come to be featured in a video and mobile games including Dumb Ways to Die, Dumb Ways to Die 2: The Games, and Dumb Ways to Die 3: World Tour.

This video contains the parody I've created for the song Dumb Ways to Die, cover on Dumb Ways to Die, Dumb Ways to Die parody, Dumb Ways to Die cover. My cover and parody have been inspired by the recent global health emergency, global health crisis caused by the rise of coronavirus, the spread of coronavirus in 2019, the spread of coronavirus (also called the Wuhan virus) in 2020 that is said to have originated from Wuhan, China.

Dumb Ways to Die was written by John Mescall with music by Ollie McGill from The Cat Empire, who also produced it. It was performed by Emily Lubitz, the lead vocalist of Tinpan Orange, with McGill providing backing vocals. The band on the recording consists of Gavin Pearce on Bass, Danny Farrugia on drums and Brett Wood on guitar. It was released on iTunes, attributed to the artist "Tangerine Kitty" (a reference to Tinpan Orange and The Cat Empire). I do not own any legal right to the song, I am simply covering it for entertainment and education purposes.

從2018年10月5日第一站加拿大多倫多開始，整整一年，大象體操橫跨歐亞美洲 14個國家，經歷將近一百場大大小小的演出。🎶

《水底》專輯裡的這首〈散步〉，是一首希望能陪著大家走路時聽的 歌，或許也可以作為我們這段旅程的註腳。


一直走著的我們，看了好多風景，就像這支動畫中的主角。而動畫中最後離開畫面的他，旅程也依然持續著，就像我們因為受到音樂節邀約，兩週後即將再度前往美洲，展開第二次的加拿大、美國西岸巡演。🎸🎹🥁


之前常常被問到，世界巡迴的過程中，是否會啟發我們寫新歌的靈感？雖然不確定是否能說靈感，但至少會累積創作新曲的慾望，而我們也的確將它完成了，因此，繼《水底》專輯之後的全新單曲，將於我們前往美洲演出前，大約兩週後和大家見面！也將在美西巡迴中首次演出新單曲！✨
