Two talks back-to-back.
Two very different settings (one was at British Chamber of Commerce HR event last night and the other to Year 12 students at BKK Patana School this morning)
Two very different audiences (adults & professionals vs. teenagers)
One same message: the story of how my #donttellmehowtodress campaign came about, the importance of creating more awareness around gender-based violence, dispelling myths and stereotypes, empowering women, inspiring action and educating society to be more respectful.
PS. I’ve spoken in front of government leaders, at UN headquarters, on global platforms, to millions of ppl on live tv. This morning, talking to these intelligent and inspired kids was one of the most nervous I’ve been 😅 But in the end, their attention, engagement and some tough questions was just what I was hoping for. It’s extremely inspiring for me to see how this campaign is resonating with the younger generation and how they take this message forward to create their own narratives for the future, break gender stereotypes and become positive agents for change in gender equality. ❤️
With every opportunity I get to share my message, I am able to learn more about ways to use my voice and platform to further this cause. Thank you to @bcct_thailand and @bangkok_patana_school for giving me the opportunity to come share my story.
