[What I eat on a Saturday!!? 我週六吃什麼?] Delts training and no cardio. Have started to go crazy lately about dieting. Time is f running out. Getting stressed. Breakfast (& pre-workout): beef tendon, shrimp, little bit of egg, enoki mushroom and spinach with brown rice
Small treat & post-workout: iced americano from a nice coffee shop + pistachio. Had achim original flavoured instant chicken breast after gym
Dinner: very small portion of brown rice, instant airfried cod fillet, choy sum. Not full so added konjac noodles with the instant beef tenderloin + some kimchi with very low sugar content..... didnt count as that were a trace amount only (though i think i should :()
Sweet treats before bed: small oatcake for myself with rolled oats + pb + unsweetened almond milk + baking powder (recipe see story highlight), top with pb & pistachio butter from @nuttie.b + 0kcal maple syrup + unfinished pistachio nuts in the afternoon - match with hot green tea

Miss Cakap Banyak would like to start sharing with you some of her simplest and quickest meals to make at home.
(maybe a bit late since most of you are already master chefs by now!! but never late than never)
Episode 34 - today's diary and recipe: Quick Savoury Oats Meal - is something I started making and eating a lot at home, since I got back from my hiking trip in Nepal with my buddies in 2018. Staying with the family of Neil Pande and Badri R Pande + Mithuuuu who cooked for us all - for a few days have enriched my horizon of oats-cooking and more. I came back with many beautiful memories of eating, other than the breathing-taking sights of Everest and amazing people of Nepal.
This recipe is simple, wholesome, delicious and satisfying and absolutely flexible. You can change, mix and swaps all the ingredients around for your fancy. It's basically a mix of carbohydrates (oats), fibre (sweet potato leaves and tomatoes), oils (ghee) and protein (miso paste) = a balanced meal.
Thank you to Tria Aziz for asking for cooking videos. I enjoy cooking lots, and will probably enjoy making more cooking videos too.
I think the best kind of food to eat is the simple kind - just my preference, and it suits the kind of life we have, even now during MCO - so you don't have much to wash up after, and leave you more time to study, read, Netflix and catching that online class.

Growing up we would have all remembered and loved Min Chiang Kueh, a local pancake delight that we can ever eat on the go. Today’s recipe is our slightly modified variant for cooking at home!
We used NutriSoy Oats & Quinoa Fresh Soya Milk and coconut cream to go with flour, baking soda, dry yeast and salt and warmed it into a nice batter. Set it aside for an hour and it’ll be ready to be used on a non-stick pan of your choice under low heat. Sprinkle ground peanuts, or alternatively spread kaya or black sesame paste based on your choice. Once done, fold into half and cut.
Easy to cook and a yummy afternoon snack for the family during this long weekend at home. It might well be a lot of fun!
