Last Friday was Ali’s preschool graduation. Since he was graduating, he thought that he was now big enough to choose his outfits all by himself. He insisted that he should wear a tie coz according to him, his teachers told him that the dress code should include a shirt and also a tie. In pursuit of being supportive parents, we let him match a floral shirt with a polka dot tie...as long as he’s confident and happy!

So, without checking with his teachers about the dress code (what great parents we are), we brought him to his graduation ceremony wearing a shirt and a tie. And yes, he was the only one wearing a tie - bless him and his confident self!
.
But I must say that I adore his teachers so much that they didn’t let that moment pass just like that without giving Ali the credit he deserves for his best chosen outfit - all thanks to his polka dot tie!! But what matters most is that he was happy and enjoyed his graduation party and above all, he was very proud of his outfit.

When he came home, I then asked him what was the most memorable moment of his graduation...Ali replied “I eat garlic bread, blueberries, melon, crisps and I drink pineapple juice and also apple juice...but I didn’t have enough time to eat strawberries and pizza!”

YES! I've surfed with my academic dress. Had this idea long before I even came close to graduation. Fast forward a couple of years, I can finally be proud to present this trophy surf session to you! The waves weren't as good as I'd expected but the STOKE level was definitely OFF THE CHART!!!

I just landed in Florida ✈️ I'm here for my little sister's high school graduation and to visit family!
Have you heard of lovebug season? It's happening right now and I'm...disgusted, I've been terrified of the creatures ever since pre-K. It's this season where there's just schools of these bugs flying in and they attach themselves to everything. Cars are covered in their guts and EW why am I explaining this ? alskdga; I guess aside from lovebugs, I'm also thriving in the humidity! My skin feels ah-mazing ack I wish I could move back home ?♂️
But yes! I finally filmed the wavy hair tutorial you guys have been asking about (for like a year now haha), sorry it took so long! It's all in the wand I use (not sponsored), which makes this tutorial perfect for beginners. I know I used to struggle a lot with using curling irons and wands because it takes a while to get used to the way to wrap your hair around it (like, how do you position your elbows in such a way so that you can twist your hands while also minimizing the soreness in your arms?), so using a tool like this where you just clamp the hair together is a lot easier! Plus, the effortless, natural girl-next-door waves are super cute ????
