Healing isn't linear. There will be days when you feel good or close to it, and there will be days when everything is unbearable. Healing is not about feeling good at all times; it's about seeing, experiencing, accepting, embracing and fully releasing the need to label it good or bad, and some of these aren't pleasant.
Healing can take a lifetime, and there is no “completion” date. You heal as you live— as you feel, as you hear and as you see, as you touch and as you taste.
Healing isn't the same for everyone — don't judge how others choose to heal. Be happy for them. Be there for them because that support is priceless.
