Somebody is just too excited to bring his new buddy, Everest, to school today and can't bear to put him down.
His friends were going "Everest!", "So cute!" and "Abominable!" which kind of tells us they like this adorable baby Yeti as much as we do too.
Abominable has got to be one of the best and most heartwarming animated films we've watched this year. I think a huge part of it is because of how closely we can relate to the themes of kinship and friendship and how we love seeing all the epic adventures that Yi, Peng, Jin and Everest go on.
The entire movie is packed with lots of fun, humour and thrills so there was really never a dull moment for me, not to mention the kids who enjoyed it tremendously and kept laughing in their seats. Even though the plot is mostly predictable, the ending might surprisingly leave you in a tear or two. I especially love seeing how Yi learnt to handle her grief, move on strongly with life, rekindle her passion for music - by the way, the movie soundtracks are fantastic - and learn to cherish her family too.
The movie opens in cinemas today so go catch it with the whole family when you can. I hope you will love it as much as we did!
