【《拜托别太过火》MV官方完整版 | 《Aku Bukan Hamba》/《Don't Take It For Granted》Official MV】这首特别要唱给那些“拿着鸡毛当令箭” 的人听！身为打工一族，很多时候其实是被打压的那一方。打压又或是无理要求的一方有时候可以是老板、可以是上司、也可以是Client 或 Customer。。。等等。我曾听过 “受人钱财，替人消灾” 之类的话，我当时还真的火大！拿你一份粮或一个费用就得听你任意使唤接受过分的要求甚至完成我觉得不应该的工作或任务？拜托，我们是打一份工；不是奴隶。拜托别太过火，太过火反效果，我会不代表我爱做。就算会做也不代表我爱做。说说这首创作的由来，去年五月以独立创作人的身份受邀参与一个名为 【...And The Curtain Rises.】的歌曲创作工作坊。主办单位会把邀请的12位创作人互相搭配，变成12组合，所以每人会有机会与两组人合作，任务是在12小时里，每组各交出一首全新创作，12小时后直接站上舞台表演，是有观众进场观看的表演！我当时被分配到的其中一组的搭档就是与 Endee Ahmad。我们互不认识却一拍即合地想表达打工阶层常会面对的一些不满，为打工一族发声。就这样这首歌诞生了，虽说我们有12小时，但其实扣除构思、练习、彩排、准备演出的时间，真正用来完成创作的时间真的不超过2小时，这是够刺激。在那超压力又好玩的情况下，交出这首高唱着反对被过分对待的歌曲，还真玩味。后来，我们都决定把这首歌收录在还在筹备当中(希望2020年完成）《Workaholic 2》专辑的歌单之一，让更多打工一族听见。所以，Touch wood 若你生活中有“拿着鸡毛当令箭”的人出现，随时播这首个给他们听！沉默不是懦弱，是不想说太多，我开口你就死定咯！This song we specially dedicate to those who like to take people for granted! As a worker, most of the time are the one absorbing all those unreasonable request. Those unreasonable request can either be from bosses, superiors, clients or customers....etc. Someone did say something like this to me before - "Accepting others pay, then you should solve a disaster for others." , I'm like What the..... do you think there's no pride as a worker? Come on, getting a pay doesn't mean I'm your slave, and this has nothing to do with whether I know how to complete the task or not, I know doesn't mean I like to do it! Understand? Well, lets talk about how this song exist. Last year I was being invited to join a song composing workshop name - 【...And The Curtain Rises.】. 12 local independent singer songwriters each to be pair up to form 12 groups to come out with 12 new songs within 12 hours and straightaway go on stage with real audiences watching! Each sing songwriters will have an opportunity to pair up with 2 different singer songwriters to work out 2 songs with group partners, so, 1 of the group I was paired with Endee Ahmad. We don't know each other before this, however we both kind of having same thoughts after simple chat. We decided to write a song where it can voice out the unfair feeling or situation of a worker, and that's how this song appeared. Although it says 12 hours, but seriously after deducting those discussions, practices, rehearsals time, we left no more than 2 hours approximately to actually complete a song, it's freaking challenging and exciting! We glad that we made it! Not long after the show, we both decided to produce this song in a proper way and make it 1 of the song list of my 《Workaholic 2》album which is still in progress (Hopefully can be done in 2020) to let more people heard it. So, ladies and gentlement, if you do come across people who likes to take people for granted, this song is ready for you to play for them to keep their mouth shut! Haha. Enjoy it!

I was hooked to the song when listening to it at the first time.
The modulated voice of Ed Sheeran accompanied by the rhythm n melody of the guitar, drums, piano and others in the background make this work a masterpiece.
No wonder Ed Sheeran said this song is the best song for walking down the aisle.
It was like with the song goes on, we are taken to the place where all we can see is the starry sky and we feel our loved one's heartbeat under the starlight, looking into his/her eyes smile from the cheeks and know the meaning of each heartbeat even if you two don't utter a word.
There is no more romantic love than this, right? 😉

My intention was to comfort myself when I wrote the first line "Beautiful soul, you're much better than who you think you are..." when I was going through emotional turmoil back in 2019. As I went on, I realised I wasn't looking for comfort, I was looking for an outlet. It became a conversation rather than a comfort. Somehow the negativity in this song touched me more than anything. I believe we are have unique personalities, but our experiences can be similar. To all the people who are struggling emotionally, I have something to say: shed light on your beautiful emotions, revive and bounce back to life.
在2019年某些原因令我情緒困擾，想寫一首歌安慰自己。第一句寫的就是 “Beautiful soul, you're much better than who you think you are..."。之後我發現其實我並不是想找安慰，而是需要發洩。這首歌變成了一段內心掙扎的對話，而這首歌出奇地帶給我的不是負能量，而是感動。我想跟所有被情緒困擾的人說：包容自己的情緒，重新繼續走下去吧。
