We often admire/ envy other people who look like they got it together but forget to give ourselves credit for the shit we got together day in day out ❤️

Today, thank yourself for something, anything ❤️ I fell sick today, M attack but i'm thankful for having a understanding husband who took the kids and let me rest in peace literally 😂 for 4 hours that is. But a good 4 hours as my body work to recover.

I am thankful for i got better and did Oliver's birthday invite 😍 I'm thankful this week's an exciting one cox we have final R&D for @qakesandbakes exciting new product launch, kite flying, Oliver's birthday celebration and weekend Yishun ❤️ So much life to live for ❤️

I want you to look for the life to live for. I want that for all you good folks. Realise the joy in creating more joy. Love the life you live ❤️ I want that for you.

I was feeling really demoralised and jaded after almost one month of watching netflix docu-series like The Keepers, The Kalief Browder story and today i just watched the Jeffrey Epstein: Filthy Rich series and it truly chill my heart wtf. Like i legit felt depressed and lost faith in human beings. Plus news of kids being sexually abused kept coming out it just really crush my soul okay. This is when i tell myself ignorance is bliss but ignorance is an insult to the suffering the victims went through. More awareness should be raised.

Teach our kids well cox they are gon make the numbers in the future. Will the world have more assholes or more good souls? Idk.

But i'd always be hopeful. In the meantime i'd stay off whatever my old soul cannot tank 🥲😄 Tbh i got so agitated i shouted "DIE!!! FKER SHD DIE!!!" at my TV and then i took out my phone "THIS MFKER I'M GONNA GOOGLE IF HE DIE ALREADY NOT HE BETTER FKING BE DEAD LET ME GOOGLE SEE WHATS HIS KARMA" 🙂 This is how mad it drove me. I think i don't watch better wth it takes a toll on my sanity 😂

Let’s talk about skin colour today.

Growing up, have you heard relatives comparing siblings’ skin colour, and the fair-skinned girl might be labelled ‘beautiful’ and the darker one ‘ugly’?

A perfect life from perfect skin
- but only for those of the ‘fairer shade’?

Judging the worth of a person based on how fair his/her skin is would be no difference to holding a belief of a social hierarchy based on skin colour.

This may be nothing more than an extension of deep-rooted internalised racism.

In more extreme cases, this could go far beyond merely a preference or bias but verge towards racism.

After all, treating people differently solely based on their skin colour IS the very definition of racism.

Not sure about whether something is culturally insensitive?
Google.
Read up about it.
Ask questions.
Ask why and try to understand.

Ignorance is NOT bliss.
It is tragedy, insensitivity, and conscientious stupidity.
