Here’s our recipe, which you try at home. Don’t forget to get some youtiao!
Prep: 15 minutes
Cook time: 45 minutes
Serving: 4 people
Ingredients
1. 1 cup of rice
2. 8 cups of water
3. 10 pieces of fresh scallops
4. 5 dried scallops (washed and soaked till soft)
5. Spring onions (washed and chopped)
6. 2 fresh chicken thigh (washed, cooked and shredded)
7. 1 packet (500ml) of CHU Collagen® Premium Chicken Collagen Soup
Preparation
1. Rinse the rice briefly in clean water, drain off all water. Add water and bring to a boil in a pot. Reduce to a gentle simmer and cook until the rice has broken down.
2. Add CHU Collagen® Premium Chicken Collagen Soup, fresh scallops and dried scallops into a pot. Stir evenly.
3. Divide among bowls for serving and top with chicken shreds and chopped spring onions.
4. Served with fried dough - youtiao.
Note: I did not add any salt because the CHU Collagen® Premium Chicken Collagen Soup is savoury enough!
