On March 28th, Shun Hing Salon, HKU's General Education program, and Ear Up Music, a local organization that promotes Hong Kong music, brought us a two-hour talk and discussion on “What can we do for the next generation of Hong Kong's Music Industry?”.
Mr. Anthony Wong (黃耀明) from People Mountain People Sea (人山人海), Mr. Mike Orange from Hong Kong Indie rock band Chochukmo (觸執毛), Mr. Yuen Chi Chung (袁智聰) from MCB Magazine (音樂殖民地) and musician Serrini shared their insights with a packed room of students on how independent bands and musicians can promote and showcase their work.
