I know Thailand is famous for Tom Yum soup, Mookata, BBQ. But what I didn’t know, that Thailand is also famous for their porridge 🥣 (Jok in Thai)!! You should check this out!
JokJokMor, which means Porridge in The Pot in Thai, offers authentic Thai porridge by Roy who spent a lot of years in Thailand to master Jok. I had their Tom Yum porridge and the kids had See Ew Kao (Light soy sauce broth in Thai).

For a person who does not take chilli well, they removed the chilli oil for me, so I can taste the goodness of the soup and the sourness of the Tom Yum🍲! Super 开胃! This is a must try! For the kids See Ew Kao, I expected it to be salty but lucky to me (too bad for them), it is not. I’m certainly impressed that they had managed to balance the flavours to bring out the fragrance of the broth.
Some of their must try side dishes, Crispy Pork, Fried Tumeric Wings, Handmade Otah and Fried Sesame Chicken. THE MAIN STAR is their Handmade Otah! I’ve always avoided Otahs that are full of paste but with no fish meat at all, but their handmade Otah has the right amount of paste with lots of fish meat! Swipe left to see. 🥢
Jok Jok Mor’s porridge will change your mindset on the traditional Chinese porridge, your perception that porridge is for the sick and weakly. You get the chance to tantalise your tastebuds and excite your senses with the flavourful offerings. Besides the food, you should also try out their NO SUGAR Thai Green tea, and their signature Thai beer.
