Meet the Cowboys of the East.

They are one of the attractions that you can find during the annual Tamu Besar Kota Belud. During this event, a horseman wears his traditional Bajau costume and decorates his horse, or rather a pony, with a colourful outfit that covers everything except the eyes and nose. The unique saddle is called sila-sila made of a buffalo hide with a thick piece of cloth placed just under the sila-sila. Catch them in action during the horse parade. It will make great content for the gram.

A different route otw back to the homestay from Mt Kinabalu Coffee Farm, Nuluh Lingion is a downhill shortcut passing through virgin forest and coffee farm 😍😍😍 definitely shorter than the time we went up, I love how cooling and thick it feels.

The leeches are also bigger 😂😂😂 I brought back some with me everytime. Such a wonderful trip, would love to be back and explore the waterfalls ❤️

Blessed to finally get to see the coffee tree at @mtkinabalucoffee farm aged 30 years with fruit and flower. They usually trim it so it won't grow as tall as the 50 year old ones (Pic 6). Gosh, I hope I get to come back when it's full bloom. Also get to taste the coffee cherry on our way back to the homestay 😍🤭.
