這首歌是有關「自殺者遺族」心聲的歌曲，小編第一次聽到這個詞是在臨床心理學的課程中，它指的是因自殺事件而飽受痛苦之人，通常為自殺者的家屬和朋友。離開的人有他們的痛苦，而留下來的這些人也很痛苦，也同樣需要被關心😢
Lewis Capaldi 受訪時說他在五、六歲時，他的阿姨因自殺離世了，像他一樣的自殺者遺族常會想著：「若當時有...就好了」，或者該怎麼幫助他、給他多一點關懷或許就不會發生這樣的憾事等想法，這首歌就是唱出自殺者遺族這樣的心情和內心的痛苦😓
