With only one thing on the menu- Penang Assam Laksa, this newly opened eatery at Wisma Soon Pulau Tikus (where Burmahtel is located/ next to SOCSO building) has been luring in big crowd since its opening. Accordingly, this place is run by a proprietor whom previously sells at Penang Road. This new place at Wisma Soon is cleaner and more spacious; apart from the Penang Assam Laksa, this place churns out crisp, fresh and delicious Spring Rolls and Lor Bak for diners to go with the Assam Laksa. The Assam Laksa broth is thick and richly flavoured with flavors from the Sea as well as the freshness from the Herbs. The spiciness however, is rather muted… but i’d say that it is still a bowl of decent Penang Assam Laksa.
