記得這幅作品的第一位收藏者是位猶太老奶奶，在駐村最後幾天，展覽還未開始時，她走向正在布展的我，問作品是否有在販售。

紐約駐村時遇見很多厲害的創作者，當時看著每個人眼神有光，都懷抱著強烈的企圖心要來這發光發熱。有次到企鵝出版社見藝術總監時，大家各個都拿著作品集往前衝，而我默默排在後面，一下午過去，到了最後看到總監眼神的疲態，輪到我的時候實在緊張得喉嚨乾澀......。展覽時我的自信心很小很小，不過其他藝術家都很熱情，也鼓勵我可以多印製一些作品。

老奶奶說她剛好路過看到這裡似乎有展覽，想收藏這張作品，她是位大學教授也是心理諮商師。「這幅畫我很喜歡想買兩張，一幅掛在諮商室，一幅送給也是心理師的好朋友當作他的生日禮物。」她眼神溫暖緩緩的說，總覺得她能理解我所想在畫裡表達的。

回台灣之後又收到一封信，老奶奶寄來e-mail表示還想再向我收一張(好像真的很喜歡)。那時候僅有做海報的大尺寸，怕寄去美國作品在運送途中會受傷，於是就回覆她，說未來若還有機會去紐約再與她聯繫吧！幾年後去了，現在這幅作品做了小巧的樣式，想起了這件事，不知道紐約之前疫情嚴峻，她現在是否安好呢？諮商室裡是否還掛著之前帶回去的那張呢？
