"体操といえば6種目こなして一人前。 その個人総合での世界一は体操人なら誰しもが一度は夢見るもの。 世界選手権個人総合2014、2013、2011と3大会連続でW表彰台って… 日本の体操は最高です!!!"
"About managing the 6 events of (men's artistic) gymnastics. Every gymnast dreams of being #1 in the world in the Individual All-Around. The 2014, 2013 and 2011 World Championships (Men's) Individual All-Around podiums... Japan's gymnastics is the best!!!"
[T/N: HUGE congratulations to Uchimura Kohei and Tanaka Yusuke for winning the Gold and Bronze medals respectively at last night's Men's All-Around finals! This is King Kohei's 6th consecutive major title, and his routines were close to flawless! I'm overjoyed that Tanaka made the podium as well - he was 9th after the third rotation but put on incredible PB & HB routines to finish 3rd overall. After the medal ceremony Tanaka told Japanese media that because the two-per-country rule kept Ryohei out of the AA finals, he really wanted to win a medal (to make his opportunity worthwhile) - Ryohei definitely knew what he was saying when he said that any of them who qualified for the AA "would have the strength to win medals". Job well done Tanaka! The Silver went to Great Britain's Max Whitlock -4th last year- who was incredible as well. All 3 medalists finished with a total above 90!^^]

Ryohei will be in tomorrow's Floor and Sunday's Parallel Bars event finals. With other gymnasts competing higher difficulty scores, Ryohei will have to execute his routines perfectly to get a shot at a medal - hopefully he will be able to maintain his composure and show us brilliant routines we know he is more than capable of!
