Have you ever felt like you’re not good enough? Not fully ready? Have you ever postponed something even though it’s all you think about? You knew you have to least start somewhere but your brain keeps coming up with excuses?

“think about it tomorrow. I can’t make up my mind today.”
“Maybe I’ll call next week when people have returned from their holidays.”
“Maybe next month when the kids return to school.”
“Maybe next year when things are less crazy/busy/hectic.”
I’m guilty of it too. Many of us get stuck overthinking things and that, my friend, is going to keep you stuck exactly where you are.
We could talk about our ideas forever and second guess ourselves for the millionth time.
I was scared to launch #MomBossAcademy too. It’s been on my mind for the longest time but I didn’t feel like I was fully ready. “The kids are too young, I have too many plates on my hands,” I told myself. The excuses were endless.
But I also knew that you can never be fully ready for anything. I didn’t want to disappoint those of you who signed up for the waitlist months ago. I don’t want my dream for a better work-life balance world for our daughters to die. So I jumped.
I highly encourage you to get started and see what happens. Take action because nothing will happen if you don’t.
I think sometimes we are afraid of what people will say, but honestly, others don’t think about you as much as they think about themselves. I believe that when you put in the work, you will reap the rewards.
Worse case scenario, it doesn’t turn out as well as you have hoped. But you keep learning, tweaking and perfecting yourself.
And let's think about the BEST case scenario. One where you let the fear go and it is better than you’ve envisaged. People will be inspired and think, “she’s so brave, I want to be more like her.”
You just have to go for it because when you get started, you will get your answers so much faster than keeping it to yourself.
